Y/N walked into the grand restaurant with an effortless grace, every step she took echoing her confidence. Her black slit dress flowed elegantly, revealing just enough of her toned leg as the fabric shimmered under the soft golden lights.
Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back in smooth waves, framing her face, which bore an expression of quiet strength. The delicate scent of her perfume lingered in the air as she moved, drawing attention without even trying. The dim lighting of the restaurant seemed to amplify the radiance of her flawless skin, the soft glow highlighting her striking features.
Her aura was commanding, almost regal—she didn't just walk into a room, she owned it. The staff stopped what they were doing, their gazes following her in silent admiration. The girls whispered to each other in awe, impressed by her poise and impeccable sense of style.
“God, she looks like a movie star,” one of the waitresses whispered, her eyes wide.
“Look at that dress! I could never pull that off,” another girl added, her tone laced with admiration.
The boys, on the other hand, were stunned into silence, their jaws practically dropping at the sight of her. One of the busboys elbowed his friend, muttering, “Dude, did you see her? She’s unreal.”
Y/N didn’t acknowledge the stares or the murmurs. She was used to it by now, the effect she had on people. She moved towards the private dining area reserved for the two families, her posture perfect, her expression calm but focused. Tonight was important—an engagement dinner between her family and Taehyung’s family, a formal occasion where everything had to go smoothly.
As she entered the room, the conversation among the family members quieted for a moment, everyone turning to look at her. Taehyung’s mother, seated at the head of the table, gave a polite smile.
“Y/N, you look stunning, as always,” she said warmly, gesturing for Y/N to take her seat beside Taehyung.
Y/N nodded in acknowledgment, her lips curving into a small, controlled smile. “Thank you. I hope I’m not too late,” she said, her tone polite but detached.
“No, not at all,” Taehyung’s father chimed in, his eyes briefly lingering on her as if assessing her. “We were just discussing the details of the engagement ceremony. It’s important that everything is perfect.”
Y/N settled into her chair next to Taehyung, her posture straight and poised. She glanced at him from the corner of her eye, her expression unreadable as always.
Taehyung leaned slightly toward her, his voice low. “You’re stealing the show already,” he murmured, a smirk playing on his lips.
Y/N didn’t respond right away, instead picking up the glass of water in front of her and taking a slow sip. She placed the glass back down with precision before finally meeting his gaze, her eyes cool. “I always do,” she replied bluntly, her voice soft but cutting, as if it were a simple fact.
Taehyung chuckled quietly, enjoying her unbothered attitude. “You never fail to remind me,” he teased, his gaze flicking over her, appreciating her sharpness as much as her beauty.
The two families continued to discuss the ceremony, but Y/N’s mind drifted, her calm exterior never faltering. She was here for the formality of it all, but she wasn’t the kind to lose herself in the excitement of a grand event. To her, it was all just business.
The staff discreetly brought out dishes, but even they couldn’t help stealing glances at her, still taken by her presence. “She’s really something,” one of the waiters muttered under his breath, balancing a tray.
