Sorry for late publish but here is the daily reports for October 24th 2024. Today we some advances but they are not as significant as they are other days. But still some advances have been made in the Donbas area towards the Pokorovsk offensive. Let's begin.
Starting off as I said earlier, we begin in the central Donbas area where the current Pokorovsk offensive is currently happening. And yesterday we saw some advances that continued to pressure the town of Selydove. However the Russians have now finally reached the end of the road and are now cutting off the retreat path for the Ukrainian forces. But only just till now, the Ukrainian high command have only just given the order to begin the withdrawal from Selydove to not risk an encirclement. And they are slowly withdrawing troops from the town as they are under heavy Russian bombardment from artillery and drone attacks. However the situation remains uncertain for the Ukrainians.
We can now move south towards the South eastern part of the Invasion, we go towards the recently fallen Vuheldar. And then the Russians have renamed it to Ugledar. But after recently creating a buffer zone between the town and the surrounding frontlines they have pushed the Ukrainians away from the town. But now they have made small advances towards the eastern flank of the frontline and they were able to make a somewhat successful advance. But the Ukrainians are still holding a strong defensive position. And they have stronger plans to keep the line defended. And as of Chasiv Yar just behind Bakhmut, the situation is still dire but there have been no advances yesterday in this region. But still the intense Urban combat continues. And also as of the Kursk incursion, the Ukrainians not Russians have made any advances on the map and they are continued to be locked in a stalemate with the Ukrainians for the time being.
