28th October 2024, today in Ukraine there has been significant back and forth advances for the opposing factions and there have been multiple advances in certain areas. Which we shall report on today and we shall begin with the south eastern front towards Vuheldar.
Towards Vuheldar, we have seen reports of multiple clashes and fighting between the two forces and the Russians are continuing the offensive into 3 districts. Veilikonovoselkovskaya, Vuheldar and Maryinsk. (Yes the first name is real not key spamming) and the forces within these areas continue to fight. And with that, the Russians have made some advances on the west flank of Vuheldar and have been able to enter the settlements of Shakhtars'ke and Novoukrainka. And the fighting remains at a high intensity. However the development of a Ukrainian salient has led the Russians to advance and pressure the east flank with some minor advances as Ukrainian forces begin to withdraw. And lastly a small advance was made just south of Yelyzavetivka on a small strip of land.
Moving the central Donbas, in the Pokorovsk offensive, the Russians have made a small advance further towards Vozneska and further clashes have occured with small, brief engagements. Next, Russian forces have captured the last streets and buildings of Selydove and have also captured the small village adjacent to Selydove named Vyshneve. Just north of Selydove, the Russians had also made a small advance southeast of Lysivska which is currently in battle for the town.
Lastly we move a little north of the Pokorovsk offensive towards the city of Toretsk where Ukrainian forces have been able to successfully recapture some territories of Toretsk within the district of Zabalka. And as of Chasiv Yar and the Kursk incursion, no further reports of advances or attacks have happened as of today's reports. So no further a do here are the casualty reports for today.
