Seventeen had planned a retreat, a chance for them to relax and rejuvenate away from the pressures of their daily lives. It was an opportunity for everyone to reconnect with each other—and with themselves. Amara was invited along, which thrilled her but also filled her with trepidation.

The serene landscape of the retreat center was breathtaking. Lush greenery surrounded them, and a calm lake reflected the vibrant blue sky above. The air was crisp and refreshing, a stark contrast to the busy city life she had become accustomed to.

As the members set up their accommodations, Amara felt a thrill of excitement wash over her. This was an opportunity to bond with them outside the clinic, to see them as they truly were, away from the pressures of the world.

During team-building exercises, Amara thrived, her laughter echoing across the field as they engaged in friendly competitions. They played games like tug-of-war and relay races, the sun shining down on them, making the moment feel almost magical.

"Come on, Amara! You can do it!" Hoshi cheered, his voice ringing out like a motivational anthem.

With the adrenaline pumping through her veins, she sprinted forward, heart racing as she tried to keep up with the members. The camaraderie was intoxicating, and for a moment, she forgot her worries, lost in the joy of the moment.

In the evening, after a day filled with games and bonding, they found themselves gathered around a campfire. The stars twinkled overhead, and the crackling of the fire created a comforting atmosphere.

"Tell us a story, Amara!" Hoshi urged, a playful grin on his face.

"Yeah! Something interesting!" Mingyu added, leaning forward with anticipation.

Amara felt a warmth spread through her at their eagerness. She hesitated for a moment, wondering what to share. "Okay, but only if you promise not to laugh," she said, a teasing smile on her lips.

"Promise!" they chorused, their eyes wide with excitement.

Taking a deep breath, Amara began, weaving a tale from her childhood—a funny incident about her family and a runaway dog that caused chaos at a picnic. Laughter erupted around the fire as she animatedly recounted the events, her nerves dissipating with each chuckle from the members.

As the laughter died down, Wonwoo caught her gaze, a soft smile playing on his lips. "You have a gift for storytelling, Amara. I could listen to you talk for hours."

Her heart fluttered at his compliment, and she found herself wishing for the moment to last forever, surrounded by friends who understood her.

Maybe this is where I belong, she thought, her heart swelling with hope and warmth as she looked around at the smiling faces illuminated by the flickering firelight.
