Orm initially thought she'd take the day off. Lord knows she was tired from the traveling, from not being able to sleep well with everything going on between her and Lingling, and after last night, she especially felt emotionally drained.
But she wanted to see View. Needed to talk to her. And apologize to her. Right before she left her place, she checked her chat window with Lingling for any messages from her. There were none. But Lingling was online. Maybe she was going for a run? Orm sighed, locked her phone and got ready to head to work.
Around 8 am View walked in to The Moonflower with Ying. Orm looked at her with intent. View's face changed when she saw Orm waiting for her. She shook her head, and walked right past her towards the back room to keep her stuff inside.
Orm stood awkwardly there. She walked behind the counter and busied herself at the cash register.
Customers started to come in, and they got busy. Until it was almost lunch time.
Orm pulled up her phone again. No texts from Lingling. She sighed. She couldn't believe they were here.
Orm looked towards View who was scrolling on her phone at the other end of the counter.
"I'm sorry, View" Orm said
View looked at her
"I'm an asshole for not being honest from the start, and I'm sorry..." Orm added, taking a few steps closer.
View folded her arms in front of her and turned towards Orm.
"Are you going to tell me the whole truth?"
"Yes, on one condition. You let me take you out for lunch..." Orm said
A small smile dawned View's face.
"Okay deal. But you have to tell me everything. "
Orm smiled. She then looked down at her phone again. Nothing from Lingling at all. Her heart felt heavy. She locked it and pocketed it, and then went out with View for lunch. She told View everything as she'd promised.

Later that evening, an hour before it was time to close shop, Orm went over to View.
"Thanks. For today..." Orm said
"We're good," View said, throwing her arms around her and pulling her in for a tight hug.
Orm left quickly. She was now on a mission. She got in her car and drove on over to Lingling's studio.
When she got there, she walked in with purpose. Jaja was at the front desk. He looked at her and then his eyes were on the bouquet in her hand.
"Hey Lingling? Orm's here." She called out to Lingling
Lingling who was in the middle of tattooing someone suddenly turned towards the doorway. Her eyes widened when she saw Orm . She looked gorgeous today. Lingling was secretly grateful she turned up. She had been missing her desperately. But would admit it to no one. Orm stood there looking at her longingly. She was wearing a blouse with yellow, white, and blue stripes.
'Take it off' an intrusive thought came over Lingling, and she had to actually shake her head to stop herself before she started drooling. Her girlfriend was the hottest woman alive, her self control was shocking even to herself. She reminded herself then, they were not in a good place.
