Orm FaceTimed Lingling once she reached her store the next morning. Knowing from her good morning text she was up for a run anyway.
They had a short conversation, wishing each other a good day ahead, some flirty banter. Lingling asked Orm if she wanted to do anything this evening, but Orm had promised her brother Win they would meet for drinks tonight, so she had to turn Lingling down.
"Tomorrow?" Orm has suggested
"Yes tomorrow" Lingling confirmed with a smile. "Thank you for calling, I like it when my day begins with that smile of yours" Lingling admitted.
"It's your eyes for me. Makes my whole day better" Orm said
Lingling blushed. "You're turning me into a softie, Orm"
Orm feigned shock "oh no, how ever did I manage to turn motorcycle-riding tattoo-sporting badass Lingling Kwong into this love-sick mess?!?"
"That's presumptions of you" Lingling said
"What do you mean? which part :P" Orm asked
"You said 'love sick'"
"Oh" Orm blushed
"Well, you may be right, Orm" Lingling said.
"I may be"
"For what it's worth, if my reputation had to change, I'm glad it's for the better, and I'm glad it's because of you" Lingling said confidently, with a smile so proud.
Orm grinned and blew Lingling a kiss.
Lingling made to catch it in the palm of her hand and smear it all over her face and Orm burst out laughing at her antics.
"Have a great day Teerak" Orm said.
"You too babe"

It was a little after noon now and Orm was just done with lunch, she decided to text Lingling and see how her day was going
"Teerak, thinking of you. How's your day?"
"Hey Orm, uhhh... I'm having the worst day. I'm so fuckin' annoyed. I'll text you soon okay, really tied up." Lingling wrote
"Okay Teerak. I'm here if you wanna vent"
"Thank you"
Orm stared at the chat for a second and then decided to give her some time.
It was evening now, almost time for Orm to leave and she hadn't heard back from Lingling. She wondered if she could try and make Lingling's day better in some way.

Lingling stared at the papers in front of her. Jaja was supposed to take care of these formalities for an upcoming tattoo convention they were organizing, and he was supposed to finish it last week. The guy sat on it and procrastinated and today he called in sick, and the paperwork was due this evening. So now it was Lingling's problem to take care of.
But also, Lingling had 3 huge tattoo appointments today, that were not-postponable. And the number of calls she had to make for the paperwork was annoying. She had to keep juggling between attending to her clients and receiving and making the calls, and checking the paperwork.
