As Katsuro and the team moved in a crouched formation through the dimly lit corridors, they made their way deeper into the base.

The sterile, almost clinical atmosphere felt out of place beneath Mountain Glenn, and as they advanced, they arrived in a section of the facility lined with thick glass containment units, each one housing a Grimm in eerie stasis.

The tempered glass walls glinted in the low light, hinting at their strength—likely reinforced to withstand even the most violent of attacks.

"Geez—I never would've thought something like this existed under Mountain Glenn..." Nora muttered, transforming her hammer into a compact grenade launcher to make movement easier in the tight quarters.

Jaune signaled the team to halt as they huddled behind a stack of large crates. He cautiously peered around the corner and took in the sight of a floor beneath them: a group of scientists and guards surrounding a restrained Beowolf.

One scientist injected a bright blue vial directly into the Grimm, and it let out a growl as electricity visibly surged through its body, making it twitch and snarl.

Katsuro's keen eyes narrowed, focusing on the vials and observing how small portions of electric Dust were injected into the Grimm, seemingly modifying its behavior.

He also noticed that each member of the Revenant Order wore a metallic headband with intricate circuitry—a device, it appeared, for controlling the creatures.

Katsuro's gaze landed on the corner as one of the members of the Revenant Order was riding an Ursa.

"They're... they're controlling Grimm!" Nora whispered her tone a mixture of shock and revulsion.

Oscar's face darkened as he processed what they were witnessing. "This is worse than I thought. With Salem no longer in complete control, they must see this as their chance to bend the Grimm to their will, taking advantage of the chaos. If they succeed, they could unleash an army unlike anything we've seen.", Oscar whispered.

Katsuro remained silent, his expression unreadable as he analyzed the scene. He observed the scientist's precision, noting how the Grimm's aggressive nature was suppressed momentarily after each injection.

This level of manipulation was something he hadn't expected—not even from Salem. For the Revenant Order to reach such a stage of control over creatures of pure malice meant they posed a unique and serious threat.

"Not only are they keeping Grimm in stasis, but they're testing and modifying them..." Jaune murmured, exchanging a grim look with Oscar. "If they can weaponize Grimm like this, they'll gain a massive advantage in the field."

Katsuro clenched his fist, understanding the implications of this twisted science. It wasn't just about controlling Grimm; it was about turning them into something worse, something obedient. And if the Revenant Order could make Grimm follow their commands, then Remnant itself would be at their mercy.

Jaune looked to the others, his voice low but firm. "Our objective hasn't changed. We gather what intel we can, but if an opportunity arises to sabotage their equipment, we take it. We're not letting them walk away with this kind of power."

The team nodded in silent agreement, their expressions steeling with resolve. This was no longer just reconnaissance—this was a fight to prevent an enemy from reshaping the very essence of the Grimm.

Below, the Ancient Ursa sniffed the air, its keen senses picking up on something unfamiliar. It turned its massive head toward the shadows where the team hid, growling low and deep. The sound vibrated through the room, catching the attention of the Revenant Order scientists.
