Vale

A month has already passed.

Team KUKR walked through the bustling streets of Vale, each of them excitedly taking in the sights. The city was a mix of modernity and charm, with bustling marketplaces and towering buildings adorned with neon lights.

"Man, I haven't explored Vale much," Rhea said, looking around with a grin. "As soon as I got here, I went straight to Beacon for the entrance exam... Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm from Vacuo!"

"Same for me... I came here from Mistral," Kesley added quietly, barely glancing at the others as she observed the city.

"Wha-same! I haven't seen much of Vale either," Unity chimed in, excitedly. "I came from Atlas." They all turned to Katsuro, who seemed uninterested, his hands buried in his pockets as he walked ahead. Noticing their looks, he sighed and gave a quick answer.

"I was born here."

"Really? Then maybe you can show us around!" Rhea said, her eyes lighting up. "I heard Vale's one of the most technologically advanced kingdoms!"

Katsuro raised a brow, looking mildly amused at her enthusiasm. "Hn."

"Yeah! You could be our guide!" Unity added, practically bouncing with excitement.

Katsuro gave a slight nod, turning forward again. "Fine. I can do that."

He led them through Vale's streets, pointing out popular spots and hidden gems-a favorite bookstore, a park with the city's best view, and a small vendor selling street food. The team took it all in, laughing and chatting as Katsuro shared brief explanations of each area they visited.

As the afternoon wore on, they exited a cozy restaurant, stuffed and content.

"Ugh... my tank's full," Rhea groaned, patting her belly.

They walked in a satisfied silence until Rhea suddenly placed a hand on Katsuro's shoulder, a new idea sparking in her mind. "Oh! How about we go to your house? I'd love to see where you live in Vale!"

Unity's eyes widened with curiosity, while even Kesley perked up at the suggestion. Katsuro was so reserved; the idea of seeing where he lived was too intriguing to pass up.

Katsuro paused, taking a moment to consider. Living in relatively peaceful times, maybe he could share a bit more about himself with his team. He let out a sigh.

"Sure. I'll lead the way."

"Awesome! I can't wait to see-"

As they rounded a corner, a large, elegant manor came into view. The impressive stone structure, surrounded by manicured gardens and towering gates, was instantly recognizable.

"-your house...?" Rhea trailed off, her jaw dropping as she took in the sight.

Unity's gasp cut through the silence as she stared at Katsuro in shock. "Wait... isn't this Rose Manor? Isn't this where the Headmaster lives?!"

Katsuro nodded, calm as ever. "Yes. He's my father."

Rhea and Unity's jaws dropped simultaneously, while Kesley, the only one in the know, just smirked at their stunned reactions.

"No way! The Headmaster has a child?!" Unity practically shouted. Outside of Vale, the existence of Headmaster Sasuke's family was mostly a rumor. Sasuke Rose kept his personal life out of the spotlight, leaving many to assume Katsuro's last name was just a coincidence.

"And if it were supposed to be a secret, he wouldn't have given us the name 'Rose,'" Katsuro added with a shrug. His relaxed tone somehow made the whole thing even more unbelievable.
