After the Rebellion

District 4

*Katniss Pov*

Peeta wakes me up at 6:00 to start getting ready to get off the train. We are supposed to arrive at 6:30 so we have about 30 minutes until we arrive. 

I go and make sure everyone is up and Johanna is still laying in bed so I throw a pillow at her and she wakes up. 

SERIOUSLY BRAINLESS. She shouts angrily. 

Get up we need to leave in 30 minutes. I say. 

Ughhh. She groans. 

Where's David? I ask. He is showering. she says. 

Oh alright. I say. 

I walk in Annie's room to say good morning to Finn. Morning Annie. I say. Morning Katniss. She says. I pick up Finn and Annie asks me if I can feed him. 

Sure no problem. I say. She hands me a bottle of formula and I walk to a couch on the train to feed Finn. 

Peeta walks up behind me with all of our suitcases smiling at me. What? I say. Nothing you would just be the best mother. He says. 

I put on a fake smile and I know Peeta can tell it was fake but he leaves it alone. 

I feel horrible preventing Peeta from having a baby because his whole life he has dreamed of being a father. 

The only reason I am afraid of having children is when I was younger I vowed that I would never have a child because what the games might do to them. 

I know the games are over, but how can I raise a child when I am so broken. I still have such surreal nightmares that set me off. 

Finn giggles snapping me out of my thoughts.

Everyone walks to the living room and we all wait until we arrive in district 4. 

About ten minutes later we are in district 4.

We call a taxi to take us to our hotel and closer to our wedding venue. 

Effie is already there and she is setting up our venue. 

We all get in the taxi and we wait till we arrive. 

Just so you all know I am getting drunk at the after party. Says Johanna. 

I'm with you. Says Haymitch. 

We all laugh and we pull up to our hotel and they take our bags to our room. 

We got the penthouse because we are piratically billionaires from the games. The penthouse is almost as big as a house in Victor's village having enough rooms for all of us to stay in. 

We settle in and go outside to look at our wedding venue. 

I see a gorgeous platform with an arch covered in sunset orange flowers and green leaves. There are a couple white chairs and you can see a perfect view of the beach. 

It looks so pretty and makes me even more excited for my big day. 

It looks beautiful. Says Peeta. I know right. I say. 

But still not as beautiful as you. He says making me blush. 

I press my mouth to his and wrap my arms around his neck and his hands snake around my waist. 

I run my hands through his blonde wavy hair as we kiss and a spark goes through my body. The same spark that I felt after that one kiss in the cave, and on the beach. 

Our lips fit each others so perfectly like they were made for each other. 

Alright lovebirds that is enough you can save that for later.  Johanna yells. 

Me and Peeta laugh and we walk hand in hand back up to the hotel. 

We walk back up to our room and we all sit in the living room after everyone has unpacked. 

I want to go to the beach. Says Claudine. 

I'm down, It's super sunny out. I say. 

Sure lets go. says Johanna. 

Okay I am going to go get ready. I say. 

HAYMITCH BRING SOME WHISKEY. Johanna yells. 

You know it! He yells back. 

I walk up to Peeta and I's room and put on a white bikini. 

Peeta come here please! I yell frustrated because I can't tie the back of my top. 

What's up Kat. He says. 

I need help tying my top. I say. 

Sure no problem Kat he says while tying my bikini top. 

I throw on some shorts and a tank top and Peeta puts on some sunset orange swim trunks with a t shirt. 

Everyone gathers in front of the door and we all head down to the beach. 

Me and all the girls lay down some towels and start tanning while the kids make sand castles. 

All the guys are swimming in the water and seeing who can last the longest without being knocked out by a wave. 

While I am tanning I feel someone pick me up and I scream. 

I see it is Peeta carrying me bridal style towards the ocean. 

"PEETA NO." I scream. 

He laughs while running and he throws me in the water and I get soaked.

I sit there staring at Peeta annoyed while he laughs.

Hah bread boy threw her in the ocean. Haymitch laughs. 

A wave comes toward me and I decide to trick Peeta after he just threw me in the Ocean. I go under the wave acting like it took me out. 

When Peeta notices he picks me up out of the water and swims me to shore. 

"Are you okay Kat?!" He says panicked. 

I stand up and push him in the Ocean and start laughing. Hah that's what you get I yell. 

Everyone starts laughing. 

Out of nowhere Johanna jumps in the water and she is acting very happy. 

Must be all that wine she just had yells Claudine and Annie. 

Great I have to deal with that tomorrow. Says David. 

We all laugh.

About two hours later we all head back up to our room and we order room service and all turn on TV. 

Effie walks in the room and she turns of the TV. 

"YOU BITCH" Johanna yells. 

Language young lady! Effie yells. 

Johanna rolls her eyes. 

It is already 10:30 and we all must get to sleep Peeta you have to sleep in a different room than Katniss. 

Why?! I ask annoyed. Its bad luck to see your bride on the wedding day. 

None of that stuff is real. Says Peeta. 

You can never be to sure says Effie. Peeta you can stay in the extra room. 

You will see each other tomorrow. She says. 

Fine. He says annoyed. 

I walk up to him and sit on his lap and start kissing him and he slips his tongue into my mouth and I let out a soft moan. 

Alright lovebirds that's enough going at it for tonight. Says Johanna. 

Where is Claudine and Annie. Asks Gale. 

They're putting Finn, Lillian and Hunter to sleep. I say

Alright now everyone head to bed please. Says Effie. 

I give Peeta one last short kiss and hug him and we walk our separate ways, and I try to fall asleep without Peeta.
