Hello old friend

*Katniss Pov* 

 Me and Peeta both stop seeing him and he eventually notices us standing there and smiles. Hey Catnip. Hello Peeta. 

They have never really been friends but they have always looked out for one another. 

Hello Gale. I say. Can I talk with you Catnip. He asks. I look at Peeta and he nods in aproval, and whispers in my ear

"Go ahead work things out with him, I know you want your best friend back" 

I smile and he gives me a small kiss and I walk off with Gale. 

How have things been Catnip. He says while breaking the silence. I have been good It was hard at first you know losing "her" and all. 

He knows what I mean when I say her. I know it probably hurts for him too because he spent a lot of time with prim.  

I am really sorry with what happened with her if I had known they would drop those bombs I would have never created them. He says guilty. 

It's not your fault I say I was just looking for someone to blame in the situation I say. 

Are you and Peeta together now? He asks. Yes I say we are getting married this week. I am so happy for your Catnip. He hugs me and it feels good to have him back just as a friend. 

How has your life been. I ask. It's been great he says. I am married to someone named Claudine from district 2 and we have 2 kids, but were planning on moving to 12. That's amazing I would love to meet her and your kids. I say. 

What are their names I ask. 

I have one girl named Lillian, and a boy named Hunter. Lillian is 5 months old, and Hunter is two. I am happy for you Gale. I say. Thank you Catnip.

Well lets head back to Peeta he says, so he is not worried. Okay. I say. 

We walk back to Peeta and he smiles and we invite Gale and Claudine over for dinner tonight to talk and go over how things have been.

Bye Gale. I say. See you later Gale. says Peeta. Bye you guys.

Me and Peeta walk hand in hand together back to Victors village. How did it go? He asks. It went good he has a wife named Claudine and two kids. I say. Good for him. Says Peeta. Yeah it feels good to gave him back. I say. I am glad he came back Kat. Me too.

Tonight Gale is coming over for dinner with his kids and Cladine. Peeta made pork chop and I heard a knock on the door and go to answer it.

 I see Gale and a tall girl with blonde hair hazel eyes and olive skin in the doorway. Hello I am Claudine! She says cheerfully. Katniss I say while embracing her.

 I hug Gale and Peeta comes to the doorway, shakes hands with Claudine, and gives Gale a pat on the back. They already act like they are so close. You must be Lillian and Hunter I say to the little kids that just walked in. 

The little girl with blonde hair and Gales dark eyes stares at me smiling and giggling in her mothers arms. The little boy, Hunter, has Gales dark hair and Claudine's beautiful Hazel eyes. 

They walk in and Peeta sets the table, and we all sit down. I heard you guys are getting Married this week. Asks Claudine. Oh yes! I say. 

Claudine I would love for you to be one of my bridesmaids. I would love that Katniss. All right I will order you a dress we all bought. Sounds good. She says.

Gale I am also looking for another best man if you're up for that. Asks Peeta. I would be honored Peeta. Says Gale. We all eat our dinner and then they all head out.

I change into one of Peeta's T shirts and put on some sleep shorts, putting my hair into a messy bun. I see Peeta walk in the bedroom with his shirt off in just a pair of boxers. I see his sexy six pack, and smile. 

Good Night Peeta, I love you. I say. 

Night Kat. I love you more. He says. 

Not possible. I say. Fine were even I guess. Says Peeta jokingly. 

I get into bed laying on his bare chest falling asleep with my soon to be husband.
