SUMMER PRACTICALLY SKIPPED into school as she was feeling so good. She had a huge grin on her face as walked through the yard towards school. She had no recollection of the cemetery, because if she did, she would not be this happy. She'd said and done a few things she would probably regret.

As she was walking, she saw Amerie and Dusty talking. She grinned for the girl as she watched him walk away. Once he was gone she ran over.

"Um, Ams." Summer said with a grin, sending her a suggestive look. "What's going on there?"

"Nothing," Amerie replied, but her face said differently. The girl sent her a look. "Okay, fine. We kissed at the cemetery."

Summer's mouth fell open is shock, "Oh, my God." She let out an excited squeal, "Bitch, yes!"

"Hey, over here!" Quinni called out to them, standing beside Darren who was waving.  "Summer, Amerie, this way!"

The two grinned before beginning to make their way over to the pair.

"It's our new besties," Quinni said happily.

Darren chuckled, "Morning."

"Hello," Quinni wrapped her arms around the girls and Darren joined them in a hug, wide smiles on all of their faces.

Summer really liked the pair and she could tell that would definitely be getting along. She hoped that their new little group would last.

They pulled away chuckling.

Summer and Amerie turned their attention over to the other side of the gate to see Malakai playing around with Nate and his friends. She smiled at the sight of Malakai's wide grin.

"Huh. One of my factors pronors starts to exact same way." Darren commented, biting on the top of their water bottle.

"How is new guy so popular already?" Amerie questioned, leaning over to gawk at them. "I want to bump chests with Dusty. I need one of those slap bands."

"Oh, sweetie, no one's gonna sell you that landfill." Darren told her, "You're the reason they're in SLTs, remember?" They grinned.

"Guys, how are we ignoring how beautiful Malakai looks right now?" Summer asked, still gazing at the boy. "He's actually gorgeous."

Amerie groaned, "Not again, Summer."

Summer looked at her in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"He's your new obsession," The girl explained, "You know, your new hallway crush. You're going to obsess and obsess until you make him into some perfect guy, that he is most definitely not."

"Just look at him," She replied, "He is perfect."

Darren chuckled.

"But nothing is gonna happen between us," She added, shrugging her shoulders.
