SUMMER JUST WISHED that she could understand Malakai; truly know how he was feeling. She basically wanted to be inside of his head and there for him.

But instead of him expressing whatever he was actually feeling. He was quite literally burying his feelings, along with the rest of the CUMLORDs. She also didn't know why he thought the sane choice was to leave SLTs for them.

She assumed he was just different. But then again, could a boy ever be that emotionally intelligent? Or could they even have a slight bit of common sense?

If they were properly dating she would tell him that he had serious for joining and that he is not allowed. But now that they were casual, she didn't know if she even could tell him what to do.

"Burying our feelings!"

"Burying their feelings," Amerie spoke in disbelief with her arms crossed over her chest. Summer, Harper and Missy stood beside her in their football kits, all watching the boys as Mr. Voss talked to them, "They're literally burying their feelings."

Summer frowned, "He's choosing the bury his feelings over talking to me," She sighed, "I actually can't be arsed."

The girls moved to sit on the grass, stretching.

"So what did he say exactly?" Missy asked Summer.

"No labels?" Summer answered, furrowing her eyebrows.

"What does that even mean?" Harper questioned. Summer shrugged her shoulders.

"Oral, but no hand-holding?" Amerie suggested.

"Something is definitely going with him," Summer said, "I just can't figure out what it actually is."

"Maybe he's just got some personal shit going on," Missy told her.

"Like what?" The girl asked with a frown.

"Jesus, Summer. I don't know. What, you think I've got hive mind or something?" Missy replied with a nervous smile.

"It's giving situationship," Harper told her, "You know what they say. Eight out of ten situationships end badly."

"What about the other two?" Summer questioned, tilting her head with a hopeful look on her face.

"End horrifically," Amerie answered. The other girls nodded in agreement.

"You know what, I think I just need to wait for this whole thing to end." Summer said with a nod, "Just wait for him to realise that he actually wants to be with me."

The other girls shared looks.

Missy nodded over to Malakai, who was passing by.

Summer turned to see him and jumped up, "Malakai, hey!"

"Be chill, Summer." Harper told the girl as they stood up.

"You guys having a fun time over there?" She asked in a sweet tone.
