SUMMER DIDN'T WANT their perfect night (and morning) to end. She laid in his bed comfortably, thinking about how amazing the night had been. She had never felt so much intimacy with a person before.

She was scared about how much she liked him. They hadn't known each other that long but she was fully obsessed with him. She wanted to be his girlfriend - so badly. But she couldn't, at least not yet.

That was killing her though. Knowing that she'd have to wait for him to actually be her man.

Malakai was perfection in human form, and she didn't even feel like she was being dramatic. There was genuinely no better person than him in the whole world to her.

"What are you thinking about?" Malakai asked her, noticing her staring off into space.

"Just you," She replied with a smile.

"Oh, yeah?" He chuckled.

"Yeah," She leaned into him, "I really don't want to have to go to school and see all those annoying dickheads." She buried her head into his bare shoulder.

Malakai let out a laugh, "We don't have to go to school." She moved her from his shoulder to look at him curiously, "We could wag all day."

"Don't you have those trials?" She asked him.

"Nah," He shook his head. She sent him a look. "You don't need to worry about that, all right?"

Summer would hate it if she knew that he'd already missed the trials for her. And now he was missing any slight chance he had for wagging school with her.

A grin grew on her lips, "We should go to the beach."

He laughed at how excited she seemed to be about going to the beach and then nodded, "Yeah, all right."

She then leaned over and pressed her lips against his. He kissed her back immediately, bringing his hands up to cup her cheeks. Summer smiled into the kiss.

When they arrived at the beach, Summer was practically jumping for joy. Malakai found it so cute that she was that excited about it.

Her messy ponytail swayed as she skipped happily along the large rocks, sporting a baby pink triangle bikini.

"Didn't know you liked the beach that much," Malakai said with a chuckle, amusement in his tone as she grinned widely.

"Um, I love it." She corrected him as they walked along the rocks, hand in hand.

"Why?"
