Willow's ears twitched as a faint humming sound filled the air, drawing her slowly back to consciousness. She opened her eyes, and everything was white.

She lifted her head, and her ear-tips brushed cold softness. Her body ached terribly, pain throbbed through her hind legs, and she groaned, the sound muffled beneath the snow that had buried her.

She pushed up, her hind legs trembling. Pushing through the snow, her head popped above, and sucked in cold air. She looked around confusedly.

The cold stung her nose as she scented the air, pricking her ears as frosty mist wrapped itself around the sparce undergrowth.

''Sunny?'' she whispered, the name heavy on her tongue as the sorrow of loss flooded over her. The image of her best friend being carried off by the eagle seared her heart, and the memory of his sacrifice sent a shiver down her spine.

''Sunny!'' She screamed into the vast mountinous valley. She let out a sorrowful yowl, her heart beating rapidly with hope. But she knew she would have no answer.

''Sunny!'' She screeched, her voice hoarse and sore. She cried out for him, feeling as if her heart were ripped into small peices, undeniably by the claws of fate.

She sobbed loudly, uncaring of anything around her. She cried uncontrably, panting and screaming and clawing at everthing.

''I hate you!'' She roared, shrieking at his ghost.

''Why would you do that, Sunny? Why? I needed you!'' She cried out desperately, her words wisping out her mouth and being taken by the wind.

Willow stumbled through the thick snow, her heart heavy with grief. The mountain loomed above her, its jagged peaks casting long shadows over the desolate landscape. She stopped abruptly and let out a gut-wrenching scream, the sound echoing through the valleys as a mournful wail.

She collapsed to the ground, her chest heaving with sobs. She curled into a tight ball, her soft fur blending with the snow as tears streaked down her cheeks.

A distant howl of wind mixed with her cries, creating a haunting symphony of loss and pain. Willow's grief-filled moans resonated through the mountain, a heartbreaking melody that seemed to draw the very essence of sorrow from the landscape.

Minutes passed, and Willow's cries softened into a low, mournful hum. Her lament mingled with the wind, a wordless expression of her shattered heart. She took a shaky breath and closed her eyes, enveloped in the unyielding grip of grief.

Willow trudged down the mountain, her steps heavy with grief. The loss of Sunny weighed on her, a heavy burden pressing down on her chest. She wandered through the forest, the snow crunching under her paws as she searched for solace.

Finally, she found a quiet spot and with trembling paws, she started to dig. The snow yielded to her determination, and soon, she had fashioned a small burrow. Curling up inside, she sobbed, the sound echoing through the stillness of the forest.

As she lay there, a glint of grey caught her eye. With a heavy heart, she reached out and discovered a frozen rabbit beneath her paw. Her cry was loud, a despairing wail that filled the air, as she cradled the lifeless creature in her mouth.

She clutched the rabbit close, her sobs slowly giving way to exhausted breaths. The blizzard howled outside, a mournful symphony that matched the turmoil in her heart. Eventually, drained by grief, she succumbed to sleep, the soft hum of the storm lulling her into a fitful slumber.

Willow didn't get up. She didn't talk. She didn't open her eyes.

She lay in the snow, freezing, shivering. She couldn't care less.
