GEORGIA'S P.O.V.
Tears rolled down my cheek as I looked at Lyra's photo in my hand. It's been a week since her death and I couldn't bring myself to really do anything.
“Are you alright?” George's voice came from behind me and I wiped my tears away before I looked at him, and he let out a small smile before hugging me.
“Why do I feel like it's my fault? If I hadn't introduced them to each other none of…" My words were cut short from his hand covering my lips and looked me dead in the eyes.
“Never say this is your fault. Regardless of if it were you who introduced them to one another or not, Lyra is going to end up meeting Mave because it's her fate”
“Since when did you start believing in fate?”
“Since I was born by mum two minutes after you” I let out a little laugh “... You didn't do anything and get over yourself the hospital is an entire mess since you refused to appear for a week, save me from the nurses that won't stop questioning me about you and go to work”
“You're such a jerk”
“You love me regardless, I'm going to Beta duties. See you later” He kissed my forehead and left.
I might be older than him by two minutes, but he acted as though I was the younger one most times, but I simply do not care, I just have to… My thoughts were interrupted by the door slamming opened from upstairs and I furrow my eyebrows confused
No one ever walks in through that door except myself, George and… Ragnar. He is awake?
“Ragnar?” I ran towards the stairs but I met mine apart from the woman who was literally crumbling everything to the ground and the anger deep within me surfaced “... What's you doing here?” My voice was filled with nothing but bitterness as I looked at her.
“You shouldn't talk to me like that and…" I didn't wait for her to finish talking when I punched her in the face.
“Get the hell out of my house!” I growled at her, and she flinched, but she frowned deeply and attacked me.
“How dare you!” I was startled by the Alpha tone she stole from Ragnar but I quickly moved, yet she grabbed my hand and pushed me to the ground.
My back hit the wooden ground and I stopped her from clawing my eyes out. I kicked her so hard that she went flying to the other end of the hall.
“Firstly you made Lyra get kicked out. I warned you stay away from her” I punched her and did the same on my stomach, but that didn't hurt.
“That little bi…"
“Careful what you say, Elara. I don't see what Ragnar sees in you, but I'll punch life directly out of you the same way you asked for Lyra to be killed!” I wanted to punch her again and a hand held my mind from behind “... Let go of me George I need to teach this…"
“Don't complete that sentence Georgia, I won't like it” My body freezes as I heard Ragnar's voice and I turned to look at him
“Ragnar? Are you alright?” I got up from her as I reached to see if he was hurt.
I might be hard on Ragnar but he was a stupid elder brother I still wouldn't mind beating the hell up when I need to
“Yes. Explain to me when you are beating up my wife?” He was angry and I was taken aback.
“She's poisoned, and you're taking her side?” I couldn't help but question as I looked at him.
“Why am I still alive?” He reached to pick Elara from the ground who was groaning in pain.
