LYRA'S P.O.V.

“Come with me gently, and we don't have to…" He trailed off when something hit him so hard and my hand was released, I immediately removed the clothes in my mouth and turned the lights on to see Zeph with a baseball heart “why you little…"

I pulled Zeph away from him and clawed his face

“Stay away from my child!” I growled, and he let out a small smile, this man was a maniac in making.

“Come with me, and we don't have to make a fuss or injure your little children…" He tried to reach out to him and I growled while pulling him further away from his hand.

“What do you want?” My voice was low as I looked at him, and he continued to smile like a child who was given chocolate.

“We made a deal, do I have to remind you of that?” My heart became heavy knowing he was not going to leave me alone, and he was too strong to fight with.

“OK, I'll follow you but leave me kids out of this” Zeph looked at me like I was crazy

“Mum no don't…" I crunched down to his height.

“I'll come back for you both I promise but before that promise me you'll be good boys and take care of your brother” I put my hand out for him but all he did was look at me like he was looking for some answers

“I promise” I kissed his forehead before giving him a hug

The stranger pulled me out through the balcony and tears rolled down my eyes. I was glad I was able to escape his clutches before hell! I never wanted to make a deal with him in the first place, but I needed to save the kids and they are now safe.

He forces me go climb down the wall after the pit a leech on me like I had the intention to run even of if I did I knew it was useless running away from him

“Relax! I promise you'll have a beautiful life”

“Get your hands off me!” I growled but he only laughed.

If Hannah was considered to be mad then this man's brain was controlled by squirrels because he did nothing but laugh at threat, use force and comes to kidnap me from someone's home on a night I wouldn't be able to run

It was too coincidental it only meant that he was here the entire time, could it be that Vallar wasn't the only one looking at me like a creep from the shadows?

A low yet very dangerous growl snapped out of the corner of the brushes and my body went rigid. I tried to step away from the bushes, but he pulled the leash and out of nowhere a huge silver wolf pounced on him, causing me to scream.

The leach was released, and I did the only thing that swirled my mind, I ran as fast as I could

Wrapping the leeches rope around my arm I ran in an inhuman speed entirely ignoring the pain the leach was causing me, running through this pack was like running through a maze but it was ten times worse considering that it was dark

I continued to run until I was exhausted and the leach had already drained me out. It was filled with wolfsbane and breathed heavily, trying to stay alive while I could.

“You are pretty fast” I screamed at the top of my lungs as his voice echoed in the air as he stepped out of the shadows

This wasn't the person I wanted to see

“Vallar, please I...” The tears gushed down my face because I honestly didn't know what to do or say.

I had promised to return, but now I couldn't, Vallar was going to kill me, there's no doubt in that. I just hope my kids find a way to forgive me.
