LYRA'S P.O.V.

It's been a week since the entire situation escalated, and I was currently rocking back and forth on a chair in the middle if a hotel watching the boys in the pool

That night I had left the house, and we had stayed here ever since then bug I couldn't help but worry about the kids, Ragnar was out to get them and kill me, but I knew too well that this wasn't about having an heir, it was about something I didn't know

"Boys! Time for lunch!" I yelled as the waitress brought out lunch and they both pulled out of the pool rushing

Zayn and Zeph may be as different as night and day, but the two things they both never argue about were video games and food. They both digger in and I watched them carefully.

My eyes narrow on Zeph who was eating slowly while his ear lubes turn red, I didn't know what he was thinking about but the fear that lingered in his eyes when he raised his head up and looked behind me caught my attention

I turned around immediately to meet eyes with a woman who seemed orderly familiar and Zeph only knew people from the pack which meant we had to leave just like I planned

"What's wrong, Zeph?" His eyes snapped towards me, and he masked the emotion on his face.

"Nothing" He shrugged, and I looked at him while he looked away

He was hiding something, but I couldn't push him to me, at least not yet. We all finished eating and I made them freshen up before packing our things.

I knew that Ragnar had eyes everywhere, but there was only one place that he was unable to go to no matter how angry he gets, he never steps a foot there

"Come in boys, we are off to our new home" They both looked at me, Zayn was filled with joy, but Zeph was not approving any of this

I think I was better off living alone with Zayn, don't get me wrong I love them both but handling two people with different personalities was like having a suicide mission

We left the hotel and I drove past the human world in a slow motion but as soon as I got into the wood, I drove like a maniac while asking the kids to have their sit belts on

"Why are you driving so fast?" Zeph finally spoke for the first time since they left the hotel.

He was a quiet kid, and she has learned to accept that

"You know, the people we were running away from?" I looked him through the rare mirror, and he nods "... They live around here, and it's close to night fall plus I don't want any of you in danger"

"And where we are going is safe?"

"Yes" He continued to chew in lollipop, do not asked me why he does it he just does

The car fell silent, and my focus was on the road and I finally spotted the entrance gate making me let out a breath of relief, but the car was came to halt out of the blue all of a sudden causing me to panic and Zeph looked at me through the rare mirror

"Who are you and why are you trespassing?" I sighed in relief knowing it was just the warriors of the pack but how the hell did they stop the car?

"Lyra Blackthorn, these are my kids" He looked at me carefully before nodding his head

"The Alpha is expecting you in his chambers"

"Thank you"

"Hold on to the wheel" I immediately put hands in the wheel and the car moved

I looked behind to see three other warriors, they were holding the car. I don't know what type of training they have been through but stopping a moving car was insane.
