LYRA'S P.O.V.
The ride was silent and when we finally got to our destination it was dark and freezing. I stepped out of the car and chills made their way through my bones just by staring at the dark brick house in front of me.
“Watch your steps” Vallar came to my side, and he placed his hand against my lower back to lead the way
The warmth that oozed out of his body was something I was grateful for. I don't know what is the problem with me but this house did nothing but scare the living hell out of me and when we stepped in it was most covered in red
“Who lives in this kind of place?” I whispered to myself, but Vallar heard it and chuckled behind me.
“Vampire descendants” I froze in my position, and he laughed out more, making me frown deeper than ever
“It's not funny!” I snapped at him.
“You should have seen your face. Relax! Everything will be fine.” He held the two sides of my shoulder to make me relax a bit and I did until I heard the click of heels against the ground.
Someone is coming
I looked in the direction of where the sound is coming from, and a woman walked down the stairs looking magnificent and a man was next to her which I assumed to be her mate
“Vallar! You finally choose to appear in our meeting! How nice to see you again after all these years" Both of them hugged.
“The meetings bore me to death! And Amanda you are looking beautiful as always” He picked the girl's hand and kissed it.
“Do you ever quit flirting with my wife?”
“Absolutely not, I've been doing it since before you met her, so forget about it”
“Nice to meet you again, Vallar. I thought you abandoned me to this big dumb hulk!” Her mate gasped as he held his chest.
“I am offended!”
“Stay offended!” Vallar shot at him and all three of them laughed.
“I see you brought someone” The man looked towards me as he spoke
“Ah! This is Lyra, my Luna. Lyra meet Amanda my lovely cousin and this is Thanos, the deranged man who stole her away from me”
“I am not deranged!” Thanos yelled in such a playful manner.
“Says the man who stole Amanda from me!” Both of them continued to argue back and forth like the twins and I couldn't help but laugh.
I've never seen Vallar so alive and filled with laughter, and honestly, I was glad I agreed to come, it's not like he was going to come without me anyway
“Boys will always be boys!” Amanda's voice stopped both of them, and they looked at her.
“We are men not boys!” Both of them said at the same time.
“Ok boys enough!” They both went silent “... Vallar take your wife to the room for some rest, the poor woman is exhausted and you, get your ass upstairs! You both claim to be men and act like boys in each others' presence!” She pulled Thanos's ears and dragged him upstairs.
Vallar turned to me, looking like Zayn after he has gladly put Zeph in trouble for no good reason
“Having fun?” I asked, and he smiled which made me laughter “... You are impossible”
“I grew with them, it takes a lot to be in Alpha mode around both of them” He tried to defend himself, but I only ended up smiling
“I was not complaining”
