WOOOOOO FINAL PROMPT LETS GOOOOO
AU: Broken memories.
Sabre ponders.
[SABRES POV]
I sit there, legs criss crossed. I'm alone. As usual. That's alright.
I felt safe. I didn't remember anything, but I knew I felt safe here. Safe with the sun slowly sinking into the fuzzy horizon far ahead.
Maybe if I had my memories I would be sitting here with a friend, but I couldn't exactly blindly trust people who said they were my friends. I didn't know where I was, who exactly I was, and while I wanted to find out..
Watching the sky slowly change colors as the sun merges with the horizon- slowly sinking below- was nice. Pink fluffy clouds littered the sky, popping out against the warm colors which faded into a deep midnight blue. It was beautiful, really.
The grass he sat on was soft and alive. Like him.
He was here. Calm. Alive.
He wasn't trapped by some strange being anywhere. He wasn't dead. He wasn't in a cell.Images of a dungeon flashed through his head.
He was in an open field. The tree line far behind him.
Sabre yawned, it was getting late and he had spent his day running from the people who seemed to be hunting him down. He liked how the cool air felt on his skin.
He liked the peace. The day was ending, and he didn't mind it. Not with a sunset this beautiful. He was calm. The field around him was peaceful...it was.. nice.
He had a feeling he hadn't relaxed like this in a long time, but now- he could.
It was just him. Sitting alone. In a peaceful grass field. Watching. Watching calmly as the sun slowly sets and the sky darkens, the stars finally showing themselves as the pink clouds shift colors, akin to the way the sky slowly faded into a midnight blue, and then a beautiful array of greens, pinks, and purples.
He was happy.
He was calm.
For once? He was safe.
