OLIVIA WAS TYPING away at her computer reading at some emails she had received right before her class started. Some were just the general faculty type of meetings going on about how they needed to submit their class plans for approval and whatnot but no one ever did that. The one email that caught her eye had the subject line "Dodger Charity" she went through the same schedule that Tommy would later receive. On it was the a basic time schedule with the colorful blocks indicating the time frame specific players should be stopping by and when their breaks would be.

Her eyes scanned through the email quickly before she typed "ctrl + f" then typing her class number. Once highlighted on the screen she saw she was 2nd on the lineup for someone named Tommy Edman?

"Tommy Edman? Who the hell is that?" She muttered, she was true to her word she has not seen baseball and someone like Tommy Edman was not known to her. "Why couldn't I get someone I some what have an idea of like where is Cody Bellinger? Justin Turner? Puig? Hell even Kershaw." As she clicked off the email she looked back at the clock realizing maybe it was time for her to pick up her students for the early morning lecture.

AS SHE HELPED the students find their seats with their name plates on top she had asked them to take 5 minutes to work on tracing their letters. In the middle of the grouped up desks laid small whiteboards that she had glued a piece of papers that had the tracing on. Of course lamination paper was on top so they could erase the whiteboard and continue to try as much as they needed too.

Olivia used this time to work on the attendance and double check her emails to see if anything was needed of her. As the time came to an end she had decided to sit them down on the colorful matt that almost every child has seen at least once in their life. A big black bordered matt with colorful squares to separate the kids and to keep 1 kid per square.

"Remember now...criss cross apple sauce, we don't want our hands or feet bumping into our neighbors." Olivia demonstrated on a bean bag chair that was right underneath the smart board. She had picked up a book she wanted to read to the kids from the little in class library, she wanted to take a crack at the getting kids to read still. Why would they need some people who the kids might not know to tell them? She was their teacher so they should relate to her even more so here she was. She had pulled some random book that was a tad higher then the reading level they were supposed to be.

"Now this book might be a little hard, but remember we learn by trying out hard things okay?" her voice was gentle as she show-cased the book for the entire class to see. The little human beings only nodded or giggled without much thought. They didn't really care what they were doing, they loved playing around with the texture of the carpet. Sometimes they would try and roll around but Olivia would quickly nudge them towards the right direction.

As she read page by page the kids' attention span only shortened. Most were falling asleep as their little heads would bow down before they would jolt up.

"Ms. Laus..." a voice spoke up with her hand going up.

Olivia had lowered the book with a small smile hoping to get back to the book soon. "Yes?"

"Are we almost done? Im bored...and hungry." she only giggled as she slapped her stomach and gently rubbed it. This caused the rest of the class to break into laughter, Olivia didn't take it the wrong way she had only guessed maybe the book was to challenging for them.

"Maybe we could do snack time in 20 minutes okay? We still need to work on some math work." Olivia responded rising from the beanbag chair needing 2 attempts, the first one she flopped back onto the really low chair. As the kids made there way to the desks that they tried to read the names off of.

"Okay, are we ready for a game?" Olivia had walked around helping any kid that might need help, her voice in a very enthusiastic tone.

The kids broke loudly into a happy cheer grabbing onto their whiteboards and markers. Each one taking their cap off with their ears perked ready to listen to Olivia.

"Now this is to see how quick you are okay? Im going to say 1 number and either say plus or take away another number." She had looked at every kids face checking to make sure she hasn't lost anyone before she finished explaining the rules. "You must write the numbers and what the answer is okay, once you do raise your hand I will call on you. If you are right you get 1 gold star next to your name okay?"

The gold stars were small prizes that made the kids really happy, at the beginning of the school year she explained to the parents and to the kids that after they gain a specific amount of gold stars they can trade it for various prizes such as, teacher helper, move desk to sit with a friend, pick a prize out of the prize box. Small little things to encourage the kids to do their best.

"Now...5...take away 3!" she slowed at first and said the last part quick and the kids were off to a quick pace. Their hands quickly going to write the numbers the signs and the answer. It had only taken about 5 seconds before a kid quickly raised their hand. "Amelia what's your answer?"

The small blonde girl with her glasses had placed her marker down raising the board up with both of her hands for her teacher to see. "5 take away 3 is...2?" the bright girl had questioned her answer at the end but Olivia clapped causing the other kids to clap as well.

"That's correct! Come here for your gold sticker." The blonde girl ran up grabbing onto the gold sticker running to the back of the room near the door where the chart with their names was. She had looked for her name and placed her gold star next to her other ones that began piling up. "Now are we ready for a few more rounds?"

The kids only nodded and Olivia looked down thinking of what to say next...

ᴄʟᴀꜱꜱ ɴᴏᴛᴇꜱ: SaturnzInterlude

I actually liked this small filler chapter. I wanted to obviously keep the shes a teacher so ofc some filler chapters will show her with the kids cause why write her as a teacher and never have her actually teach.

Writing those 3 chapters for "All Rumors" has me motivated for this book and the other. I know I promised to keep the ratio between the 2 books close but Im afraid if I pump out chapter after chapter Imma get so burned out so I tried with this one.
