THE COOL DUVET under Olivia felt foreign, Tommy stood across from her, her knees close to brushing just right under his. Olivia leaned back, propped right on one of her arms while the other stroked their fur baby Eevee.

"How was your mini-vacation." Tommy asked, a teasing tone, hoping it would lighten the mood between the two.

Olivia slowly nodded her head, "It was fine. My back is hating me, but it was fine." she responded, her tone even keeping it simple.

Even though they both had wanted to try and clear the air between them, it was obvious this was going to be awkward.

Tommy's held titled slightly, he wanted to try and read her face, to read her eyes, to read her body language, but she felt guarded so in turn he crossed his arms, "Beating around the bush won't get us anywhere so look, Im sorry I asked for you to quit your day job." he was genuinely apologetic but to Olivia she knew he was holding back on something.

"But." Olivia added in, her head jerking slightly forward expecting him to continue on.

"Why does there have to be a but?" Tommy inquired, one eyebrow raising, his own head going slightly forward.

Olivia shrugged, letting her hands get off of Eevee, "You look like you are holding back on something. Feel free to say it I'm a big girl."

"Well I mean last time, you walked out so I don't think big girl is the right word to use." Tommy begun to argue, recounting of their last argument, the last time they saw each other in person.

Olivia's own eyebrows raised in surprise and a look of confused etched itself onto her face, "Woah woah woah, I didn't walk out. You said and I quote maybe we need a break." her finger raised, signaling to Tommy to not even try and interrupt her.

Tommy's eyes rolled, "Cause you were getting mad at me for telling you how I feel. I thought the whole point of relationships is to be supportive and be there for each other. At times I don't feel like you are REALLY there for me." his voice slightly raising.

Olivia's attention fell right to the hardwood floors that always creaked when the smallest pressure was applied to them, "You cannot say a relationship is supposed to be supportive when you are expecting me to quit the one job I have always wanted." her face slightly red,

She was pissed at the idea of him trying to say she wasn't being supportive.

"If I am not this supportive girlfriend then go find someone that will be." Olivia spat out, last time it was Tommy's speaking faster then he can think, but now it was Olivia.

Tommy had moved back, his back colliding with the door, an audible thud being heard as he slightly moved his heard forward before letting it collide with the door again, "I don't want that Olivia. I want you, I will always want you. I just want to see you at the games with me. After a big win I just want to kiss you. After a big loss I just want you to console me." His confession coming in through quick breaths "I just want you THERE not miles away where I have to see your pretty face through a phone."

Olivia's heart did a flip in her chest, her hands found their way right towards her stomach as she felt butterflies were going to be doubling the action.

"How am I suppose to feel when I see Freddie run up to Chelsea, see Will run up to Cara, and see Gavin run up to your sister." Tommy asked, his face red, his eyes glossing little sniffles could be heard. "I don't feel like I am asking for a lot Olivia."

Olivia's heart broke, "You aren't, you aren't asking for a lot." Olivia leaned closer her hands finding way to his hand, "Look, I'm not going to say I'll quit my job, but I'll consider taking a leave for a bit, how about that."

Tommy's head fell back, his stomach growing small little knots of guilt, "But then I'll feel like the worst boyfriend, like yes I am here bitching about wanting you there for me and being at my games, but being the reason you are even considering quitting isn't a sign of a good boyfriend."

Olivia mentally rolled her eyes, yes he was being contradictory and it was pissing her off, considering their whole argument was based off her job.

"Okay while yes you are being contradictory, don't you ever say you are a bad boyfriend. You are an amazing one, and I am so lucky to have you, but look just give me time. Help me when I need it and don't rush me to make a choice." Olivia assured her boyfriend, her hands finding their way to his shoulder as she slowly rubbed them.

"Can I kiss you?" Tommy's voice low, his finger cupping her cheek as his thumb slowly fell right on her bottom lip flicking it down.

Olivia nodded, moving her body closer, "I love you."
