IT HAD BEEN two weeks since Olivia had been at Tommy's game, but the moment they shared in the hallway was still fresh in his mind. Currently sitting in the visiting dugout after finishing practice, Tommy couldn't stop thinking about her. The Los Angeles Dodgers were playing against the San Diego Padres later, but something else was on his mind. He wanted to see Olivia and didn't want to wait until the end of the series to go back home. He wanted it now.
"What's wrong, buddy?" Gavin asked as he put his third pair of shoes into his locker.
"I just wish Olivia was here," Tommy replied with a small pout, looking like a lost puppy.
"Man, you are completely head over heels for her," Gavin chuckled, a slight smirk on his lips as he chatted with his shortstop.
"Yeah, and so what? I want something serious with her," Tommy said, crossing his arms as he stood up from the rolling chair and grabbed a towel from inside his locker to wipe off the sweat that had built up.
"Why not ask her to come to the game with us? It can't hurt to try." The 2nd baseman suggested, grabbing his towel as he headed towards the showers.
Tommy considered the idea, but then remembered that Olivia was currently working. "She's at work. Plus, it would take her forever to get here."
"Sooo? Can't she leave early and find someone else to cover her class?" Gavin shrugged.
"That takes time, she can't just drop everything. And it's too far of a drive for only a couple hours, I can wait until we finish this series."
"If you say so." Gavin had dropped the subject for now but he had reached out for his phone and had sent a nice quick and easy message.
Gavin had scrolled through his phone and looked for his messages with Brianna. Once he had found it he had sent her a nice and quick easy plan...

A couple of hours had passed, and Olivia was currently assisting the children with their writing skills. She had given them a simple yet engaging task: to write about their favorite moment from the week. This not only kept their attention but also helped improve their spelling, sentence structure, and overall writing abilities.
