OLIVIA HAD HER kids in the school library as she gave them time to visit their annual book-fair. Her mind has been on the Los Angeles Dodger utility player ever since he had left the school. As much as she hated Baseball she may have thought maybe the men are not so bad...
"So Ms. Laus what is on your mind today?" Barbara the school librarian asked as she fixed her transparent glasses placing them back onto the bridge of her nose.
For a while Olivia was in her own little world up until Barbara had called out to the daydreaming teacher. "Hi sorry, uhm thinking about the grades I need to put in."
"Grades? For Kindergarten?" Barbara asked her face twisted in confusion. "They are just little tots why we grading them so early." her arms crossed turning to the kids who were busy running around the little shop she had set up for them.
"It's just a to see what they are succeeding at and what they need extra help in for the following year." Olivia clarified as she picked up her hot coffee taking a small sip.
Olivia watched as Barbara left to go help some kids who didn't know what taxes were and such. As much as Olivia enjoyed that the kids have taken liking to reading in some form she didn't want to be in the library right now. Her mind was on earlier activities, which was scrolling through her social media and watching everything she could on Tommy Edman. Work wouldn't allow her to use cell phone so here she was extremely bored.

The classroom sat empty as Victoria checked through any last minute emails before she had left. As she scrolled through the very bottom of the list she had heard her door open.
"You in here Livie?" a voice called out to her, sandals were heard clacking on the floor as the older lady walked up to here.
"Yeah, just running through emails what's up?" her eyes went from her computer right to Amaya.
"Would you be willing to go to a Dodger game with me?" Amaya hesitated slightly knowing the answer was most likely going to be a no. "Before you say no. I already have the tickets, I was going to go with the hubby but he had to work overtime." she had hoped that this would maybe convince her.
Before Olivia had met Tommy Edman well more so laid eyes on him she would of said no immediately and would of came up with some sort of excuse wether it was having papers to grade or needing to visit her sister.
However having the chance of seeing Tommy once again? That sounded like a very good idea. "Yeah! I can go." her face beamed confusing Amaya.
"Wait for real?" Amaya questioned, thinking it was a possible small joke she was making.
Olivia only nodded as she looked right back down to her computer scanning through the emails before logging off.
"Yeah, I need to go home first to change." Olivia looked down at her current outfit it was very teacher coded with a simple t-shirt that had smiley faces all over, light washed blue jeans and with white converse to tie the entire look together. "I think just a different shirt?" she pulled at the fabric and right back to Amaya.
"Hmm, my house is on the way to the stadium so I think I could find you a cute blouse." Amaya tilted her head looking at the young teacher in front of her as she bit her lip thinking which top would look the best on her. "Plus you can leave your car right there in our driveway so we only pay once for parking."
"Okay then! It's settled."

The drive to the stadium was as hectic as someone could ever expect people trying to cut in line and other cars trying their hardest to rush into a parking spot not wanting to deal with the traffic Dodger stadium would create.
"You sure I can keep this?" Olivia asked once again as Amaya had parked the car turning the engine off.
"Yes! It looks stunning on you." Amaya took her keys out of the slot turning her look back at Olivia. She had handed her a stunning white blouse that she had turned into a crop top. The sleeves flared towards the end and they had quickly stopped at a store to buy a white bow to go right on top. "You look ethereal."
Amaya had on the 2024 city connect jersey with it of course being her Dodger Hubby, Kershaw written right on the back.
"Well you Ms. Torres looks stunning as always." Olivia did little snaps with her finger making a z-shape hyping up the older lady.
"Aww thanks doll it's all in the nighttime routine."
The walk through security was quiet long, the lines of people all wearing their dodger merch nice and proud as they waited for their ticket to be checked. Olivia stomach was doing little flips every single step she took inching closer and closer towards the security.
With much time finally passing the ladies were finally let through the security check point and Olivia was right next to Amaya as she led them to their seats. Olivia thought the lines outside were bad but the hallways were even worse. People were either in line for the tasty snacks that the stadium had to offer or were walking trying not to bump into the people who were walking the opposite way.
"Okay Liv we are row D seats 12 and 13." Amaya had finally stopped right next to one of the little tunnels that would lead them down to the seats. Olivia looked right above where the section number was and read Section 26 right near the 1st base.
"Now I know I am not the most knowledgeable on sports but like it has to be kind of like concerts right? Aren't these tickets expensive?" Olivia pulled her phone out and heading right towards ticket master and gasping once she saw the prices for the seats around her.
"Don't worry about the price, just enjoy the experience." Amaya tried hushing her as she sat down right in their seats enjoying the view of the bright and dark green grass pattern and taking a look at the seats on the opposite side of the stadium and just sometimes she would take a glance at the players warming up...

I had downtime so I thought writing a chapter would help kill the boredom haha, I do have the next chapter or 2 kind of planned out so I will try and release them.
