Tilly's POV
"Hey Tilly." Michael says as I approach them. "How was art?"
"Good thank you." I simply replied.
"Everyone still up for the beach?" Grace asks once more today.
"Yeah, I'll text Ashton to ask him." Rosie answers.
"Luke are you sure you don't want to come." Calum asks just to make sure.
"Well actually, umm, no I'm okay thanks." He said adamantly.
The rest of the day went pretty quick. The boys played football as usual and is girls just sat and wavy he's while talking about what to do at the beach and we only touched a little bit on why Luke wasn't coming as it seemed a normal thing that he didn't do a lot with them.

The bell rang after last lesson and we all met up. We made our way to Michael's car and all piled in. One by one we went to pick up what we needed for the beach from everyone's house and then we finally headed for the beach. By this time it was five o'clock and we was meeting Ashton there.
Michael parks the car opposite an old record store and cafe. Rosie sees Ashton as we pull up and quickly gets out of the car running to him and jumping into his arms which makes me smile as they both look so happy.
"Hey guys, how's school been today for you all?" Ashton asks with a sarcastic tone.
"Alright Ash don't rub it in." Calum says.
"I'm not, I'm not." He laughs in reply.
"Race you to the sea." Michael says to Ashton and Calum.
Within seconds all three of them threw their t-shirts onto the ground and ran down the beach. We watched as Michael tried to trip Calum up and Calum tried to trip Michael so Ashton ended up beating both of them.
"Tilly, do you want your stuff?" Grace asked.
"Yeah, I'll come get it."
I grabbed my stuff out of Michael's car and so does Rosie and Grace. As we get to the edge of the sand I quickly take my shoes off and pick them up. Happiness bubbles inside of me as I haven't been to the beach in so long. The beach reminded me of one thing which then reminded me I had to sort out with mum a date to go round Jack's.
My thoughts were interrupted when I bumped into Rosie who was settling her towel and belongs on the golden sand.
"Sorry." I quickly say and begin to lay my own things down.
"It's okay, do you wanna grab an ice cream?" Rosie suggests.
"Sure." I say taking my purse out of my bag.
"Grace do you want one?" Rosie turns to ask but she is already half way down the beach running towards the sea.
We walk up to the ice cream shack which is a short distance away and wait to be served.
"Can I help you?" The boy behind the counter says.
"Umm... I'll take a vanilla ice cream please." Rosie orders.
"And I will have a toffee fudge ice cream please." I say finishing the request.
"That will be 3 dollars."
We hand over the correct change and take our ice creams heading back to our spot.
"So how long has it been since you came to the beach?" Rosie questions.
"Too long, probably 5 or 6 years."
"Wow, that is a long time. Don't worry we come here a lot so you won't ever be going 5 or 6 years without going to the beach again." She laughs.
