God's like to Abram, "Bounce from your hood, leave your crew and your dad's place for a spot I'll show you. I'm gonna make you big, bless you up, make your name lit. You'll be the blessing. Blessing for those who bless you, and a curse for the cursers. Through you, all fams on earth get a bless up."

Abram peaced out as told, with Lot tagging along, at 75 years old. Abram took Sarai, Lot, all their stuff, and their peeps, headed to Canaan, and made it.

Abram trekked through to Sichem, to Moreh's plain. Canaanites were already there. God popped up to Abram, "Your future fam gets this land." Abram built an altar there for God.

Moved next to a mountain east of Bethel, set up camp with Bethel west, Hai east, built another altar, and shouted out to God.

Abram kept moving, heading south.

Famine hit hard, so Abram dipped to Egypt to dodge the famine. Approaching Egypt, Abram's like to Sarai, "You're a knockout, and that could spell trouble for me. Egyptians might off me to get to you, thinking, 'That's his wife.' So, play it like you're my sis, to keep me safe because of you."

Egyptians noticed Sarai's beauty right away. Pharaoh's crew saw her, hyped her up to Pharaoh, and she was taken into Pharaoh's crib. Pharaoh treated Abram well for Sarai's sake, hooking him up with livestock and servants.

But God hit Pharaoh's house with heavy plagues because of Sarai, Abram's wife. Pharaoh called Abram out, "What's this mess you've dragged me into? Why didn't you say she was your wife? You had me thinking she was your sister, and I almost married her. Take her and get out." Pharaoh had his people escort Abram, Sarai, and all their stuff out of Egypt.
