Chapter 35: pregnant

Kasey and Kylie have kept them trying for a baby a secret she is only 6 weeks pregnant but wants to tell Charlotte and autumn about how they are going to have a grandchild next year. Kasey and Kylie decide on how they are going to tell them. They are going for their 6 week scan today and they are going to get Wyatt a t-shirt that say uncle Wyatt pending 2026 and Theo a t-shirt that says uncle Theo pending 2026. Little do they know that autumn and Charlotte are also pregnant again.

"Morning my sweet." Kasey says. "Morning darling are you ready to go see our little one." Kylie says. "I'm more than ready my love." Kasey says they get up out of bed and get dressed. They go downstairs and Kasey makes Kylie her morning tea and she makes herself her morning coffee. "I can't believe you're already 6 weeks pregnant darling." Kylie says finishing her tea and puts her cup in the dishwasher. "Me neither my sweet." Kasey says putting her cup in the dishwasher. "Come on we best go or we'll be late babe." Kylie says.  They go out to the car and get in they drive out of the drive way.

They arrive at the hospital for their ultrasound. "Hello we have an ultrasound appointment." Kasey says. "Names." The receptionist says. "Kasey and Kylie Andrews-knight." Kasey says. "Ah yes Mrs Andrews-knight please go wait in the waiting room the nurse will call you in soon." The receptionist says and they walk hand in hand to the waiting room. "Mrs Andrews-knight." The nurse calls Kasey and Kylie stand and follow the nurse. "First of who's carrying." The nurse asks. "That would be me." Kasey says. "Okay Mrs Andrews-knight I'm going need you to lay down on here and lift your top and if your wife wants she can pull a chair and sit next to you." The nurse says and Kasey lays down lifting her top and Kylie gets a chair and sits down holding Kasey's hand.

"This is going to be cold." The nurse says as she puts the gel on Kasey's stomach. She moves the wound around and finds the heartbeat. "And there's the heartbeats." The nurse says smiling. "Did you say heartbeats like more than one?" Kylie says. The nurse nods and point at the screen. "Baby A, baby B and baby C." The nurse says pointing at the screen. "Triplets?" Kylie says. "We're having triplets." Kasey says with tears in her eyes. "Would you like me print out the ultrasound picture." The nurse says Kylie and Kasey nod and the prints it leaving the room to collect it while Kasey cleans the gel off her stomach. Kasey pulls her top back down and stands next to Kylie holding her hand and her other hand on her stomach. The nurse comes back and gives them the picture.

"Thank you." Kasey and Kylie say they go back to the car and drive into town to get the t-shirts made for Wyatt and Theo. "Hi can we get this picture on two t-shirts one that says uncle Wyatt to Andrews-knight triplets pending 2026, and the other one that says uncle Theo to Andrews-knight triplets pending 2026 please." Kasey says and the worker nods and goes to make the t-shirts. The worker comes back with the t-shirts in a bag. "Here you are." She says and gives Kasey the bag she pays and leave driving to autumn and Charlottes house.

They arrive to autumn and charlottes. "Mum,mama." Kasey says from the door taking her shoes off. "We're in the kitchen with the twins giving them some lunch." Autumn says from the kitchen. Kasey and Kylie walk into the kitchen. "Mum can you message everyone to come round Kylie and I have something to tell everyone and can we change the boys into their new t-shirts." Kasey says. "Yeah of course darling they've just finished eating anyway so why don't you and Kylie take them up and change them." Charlotte says. Kasey and Kylie take the boys upstairs and Charlotte takes her phone out to message to group chat.

Message toy everyone:

C:hey everyone.

VC: hey char everything okay.

SS: hi Charlotte.

RK: her char

MK: hi my love

SD: hey Charlie.

HW: hi darling.

CR: heyy char.

C:can you all come round to mine and autumns Kasey and Kylie have something they want to tell everyone.

Everyone: okay we'll be round shortly.

Charlotte puts her phone away and she goes in the living room with autumn and sits cuddled up her on the sofa. "I can't wait to tell everyone about our 2nd set of twins due next year when we're ready to tell them." Charlotte says. "Me neither my sweet." Autumn says. A few minutes later there's a knock the door. "Hi guys come in." Charlotte says opening the door to let everyone in and they all take their shoes off and go into the living room. Kasey and Kylie walk downstairs with the twins and go into the living room. "What did you want to tell us sweetie." Charlotte says. "Well Kylie and I." Kasey starts and they unzip the boys jackets and taken off facing them so they don't see the t-shirts yet. Everyone looks confused. They turn the twins around so everyone sees the t-shirts. "We're expecting triplets!" Kasey and Kylie say in union.

"IM GOING TO BE A AUNTIE!?" Gracie shouts and hugs them both. Autumn and Charlotte hug them. "You're both going to be amazing mums we're so proud of you both." Charlotte and autumn say. "Thank you mum and mama." Kasey says. "Thank you autumn and Charlotte." Kylie says and they hug autumn and Charlotte again. Everyone congratulates them and hugs them. "Who's carrying the Andrews-knight triplets." Siobhan asks. "I'am auntie Siobhan." Kasey says. "It's still early days but I'm only 6 weeks along but all babies are healthy and happy." Kasey adds. "How did you guys go about doing it." Viv asks. "Well uh the babies are actually both of ours biologically." Kylie says. "How?" Gracie says. "Well I'm intersex so I was born with a reproductive system, sexual anatomy, chromosomes, or hormones, that doesn't fit the current definition of female or male. An intersex person like myself can have any gender, sexual orientation, or gender expression." Kylie explains and plays with her wedding ring, Kasey looks at her wife and she's she nervous and looking down to avoid everyone's gazes. "My sweet do you want to go outside for a minute." Kasey says and Kylie nods they go outside and Kasey hols Kylie close to her. "I'm so proud of you my love." Kasey says and kisses the top of Kylie's head. They go back inside and autumn and Charlotte wrap their arms around them in a gentle hug. "You're both going to be amazing parents those babies are very lucky." Autumn says. "Thank you mama." Kasey says. "We love you both." Charlotte says. "We love you too." Kylie says and they pull way from the hug. "Mum,mama can I talk to you in the study." Kasey says. "Of course." Autumn and Charlotte say and they go into the study. "Are you are." Kasey asks looking at Charlotte and autumn. "Yes why wouldn't we be sweetheart." Charlotte says.

"I don't it's just mama looks more tired lately and you look like you're not getting any sleep either mum." Kasey says. Autumn and Charlotte look at each other and autumn nods at Charlotte. "I mean with me being pregnant I know I'm tired a lot more and Kylie doesn't really get any sleep because of my cold sweats and heartburn." Kasey continues. "Kasey darling your mama and I are expecting our 2nd set of twins." Charlotte says and Kasey's eyes widen. "Wait really." Kasey says. "Yes but we're waiting until we're ready to tell everyone else there's only you and Gracie that know." Autumn says "I'm so happy for you mum, mama and I can't wait to meet them." Kasey says and hugs them both. They go back into the living room.
