Chapter Ten - Rich

Maa's POV

Hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit nandito na naman siya.. Bwesit! Naiinis talaga ako.. Unconciously, I went towards him and making face.

"What are you doing here again?!"

"I'm checking on you. You Seem okay.. I have waited for almost 4 years. Now all I need is 1 year."

"What are you saying.?"

"I told you I won't stop. Bye for now M.A! See you tomorrow!" Don't tell me hindi pa niya nakakalimutan ang usapan nila ng dad ko nun?

Umalis siya at iniwan akong nakatayo pa rin.

"Maa, kilala mo ba siya." Toni asked me.

I just simply nod to Toni and went outside to follow him. There, I saw Rich walking with someone I don't know. My big question is "What is he doing in here?". SH*T!

His name is Rich. I do not personally know him. I mean wala akong alam sa pagkatao niya. The first time we met was in the mall. Nothing happened on our first meeting. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang problema niya kung bakit lagi siyang sunod ng sunod sa akin that time. Then one day, I was so surprised when he went to our house. Then I found out his father is a good friend of my Dad. One day he talked to me.

Flashback

"Hi M.A!"

"Who are you calling me M.A so casually?"

"Your soon to be BF! I didn't know our parents know each other."

"Yeah, whatever."

"Do you know my dad is a mafia boss? I think your dad is afraid of my dad. I wonder why."

"Ano ba ang gusto mo?"

"You!"

"What do you want from me?"

"You. The whole you! Nothing more. Nothing less."

Then he left all of a sudden. I was only 13 nung lagi niya akong pinupuntahan sa amin. Then one time I spoke to him.

"I do not like you! Don't come here whenever you just like!"

"Sad to say, you can't say no to a Mafia Boss' Son."

"Sad to say, I can say so."

Then I left him hanging.

I talked to my dad about it. And he only said that he'll be happier if Rich and I will get married. Tss. Kaya nainis ako sa dad ko..

Then I came up with a good idea. Bakit hindi din ako mag-recruit ng tao para maging mafia din?

After that I started fighting and seeking fights whenver and wherever. It is worth though. My dad was informed about my behaviour and talked to me. 

"I said I'll be happy if kayo ang magkakatuluyan ni Rich but I never said that you have to like him."

"Rich told me you're afraid of his dad." Then my dad laughed.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Yes, I am afraid of his dad but we are not fighting. And we are good friends we cannot let something bad happen to each other." Then my dad assured me that whatever Rich had been telling me was just a threat.

I was assured. But that doesn't mean I stopped being a gang leader. I then loved it.

Akala ko hihinto na rin si Rich sa pagpunta sa amin. Pero one day dumalaw na naman siya. His existence is an eye sore to me.

They were in the living room talking. I heard my dad chuckled. Then I heard Rich talking again.

"Tito, pag wala pang boyfriend si M.A by age of 18 ipakasal niyo na kami." Ano daw? To think we are just 13.
