OLIVIA DIVIDED THE snacks all across the table, 1 pouch of juice and popcorn per kid. She kept the extra sets near her desk thinking she could just offer them to Tommy and whoever else entered the room. The chips she had bought was kept by the entrance table wanting the kids to pick out their own not wanting to give a kid the wrong chip bag and have them throw a tantrum. It was just 10 minutes before she had to pick them up from their extra-curricular classes, and tell them what the rules would be when they entered.

She didn't know how they would behave, she was more worried about them behaving not anything else. Most of the time they were a quiet group when it was just them, but with how different the routine was going to be the little nerves were building inside of her.

She made one final stroll around the room before going to pick up the kids from art class. Some had paint all over their hand luckily nothing on their clothing, she made them line up right outside the bathroom by the walls allowing them to go in by pairs to wash their hands if needed before they made it back to their classrooms.

The kids took the orders quickly as she had promised them something was on top of their small wooden desks waiting for them. They were excited some were whispering to each other trying to figure out what it could be. They were guessing from a pizza party to toys to little prizes from the boxes. Their imaginations were running wild as they continued to talk away to their friends, but once they finished and stayed lined up she led back to the room ensuring they weren't being disruptive.

Their eyes were widened in pure joy seeing the small plastic cups and juices on their desks, each rushed by the table with the chips on top not even batting an eye clearly not noticing them. As they ran to their desks some began poking at the popcorn while others tried playing with the plastic yellow straw of the Capri suns.

She grabbed the box of chips and strolled her way to the front of the board as the kids eyes became glued to the box with more excitement as some letting out little screams of joys, she had placed her finger onto her lips trying to hush the overjoyed children, "Remember we cannot be loud okay?" her voice quiet not wanting to contradict her statement. "Now we need to behave very good today. We are having a special guest and we cannot be loud and rude to him okay?" her eyes scanning the room ensuring every child heard her.

The kids only nodded some let out their little "yes ma'am" clearly well taught to be respectful to whoever was taking care of them. Olivia's eyes scanned the room very quickly ensuring no mess was made while opening the box of chips, a pack of 24. She passed by every grouped table placing the box in the middle letting the kids pick out their bags.

It didn't take long until a knock was heard at her door, she had placed the box at the next table and instructed someone to pass the box around the room and to please only grab 1 bag. The kids accepted her wishes passing the box around while she headed towards the door.

A man with a black shirt and cargo pants was outside with sunglasses, who the hell wears sunglasses inside... "Hello Ms Laus, we are the security for the Dodgers and we are just here to inform you that Edman will be here in about 5 minutes."

Olivia only nodded before he began walking down the hallway, she had closed the door and made her way to the group that had the box of chips on their desk. "Okay he will be here in 5 minutes remember please behave! Show him we are a very kind and nice okay?" she had informed the kids who were busy trying to rip open their chip bags or were busy trying to finish their already finished juice pouches.

She had walked towards her desk looking at the pile of books she picked up from her mailbox earlier in the day. These were the approved books that she was able to choose from and hand over to Tommy.

While some other teachers had done their research or already knew the player she was just so uninterested she didn't even care to see what he looked like. She was just busy looking at the books that she could select from her eyes landed in the Dr. Seus books. They were nice and simple nothing to hard mainly filled with imagery so she knew this book wouldn't bore the kids. As the kids stood still in talks with their peers that sat around them  some were busy swinging their feet or some were singing a song they learned from the day before in their music class.

The entrance door made a sound as someone knocked ever so gently, the kids quickly turned to look at the door. Some tried moving their heads to look over the small glass window but not being able to achieve that. Olivia quickly made her way towards the door peaking outside. There stood 5 people 2 were wearing the same black shirt and cargo pants and someone wore the iconic dodger hat, a crisp white jersey with the number 25 right underneath the Dodger name and some jeans. Right behind were some people with cameras and an iPhone snapping almost every possible second.

The man in blue stepped forward introducing himself, "Hi, Sorry I took a bit longer the last class the kids didn't want me to leave. My name is Tommy." he had chuckled letting his hand fly in front of him trying to get some form of a handshake.

Olivia was a little taken aback at first, she was slightly shorter then the guy in front of her so they were just about face to face. The smile he had felt like it was working some magic, his teeth peering beautifully as his lips were curled. He had noticed she was staring but he only took it as her being a tad star-struck. She quickly pulled herself into reality letting her hand meet his, "Sorry uhm, Im Olivia or Ms Laus to these kids." she stepped aside letting Tommy and the rest of the people enter. Tommy small waved before walking towards the front of the room, the kids didn't really know who he was but hearing he was a famous ball player they acted like miniature fans.

Olivia had walked near him picking up the book she had picked out handing it right to him, she had offered her chair just so he didn't need to squat down to the beanbag chair that was by the rainbow carpet.

"The beanbag is fine." he had played with the book in his hand before squatting slowly into the bag being careful of not letting his head smash into the wall. Once he was settled he had invited the kids to be near motioning towards them, they all looked at their teacher and she quickly followed with a nod. "Go on, for now he's the teacher." she had joked with the kids as they left their desks tucking in the chair to ensure the people behind them didn't trip. They sat with their legs and arms crossed their ears ready to listen to Tommy read.

Once he begun the kids were absolutely listening ensuring they paid attention wanting to make Ms. Laus look good. Meanwhile Olivia was busy as she pulled one of the kids chairs and sat behind the group watching Tommy speak to the kids. She couldn't figure out what it was but she couldn't help but stare, was she finally seeing the reason behind Amaya's passion for baseball? She laughed to herself absolutely not...but wait...no? Is she? Wait is she thinking a baseball player was cute? For now she could only listen knowing she had to talk to Amaya later and see if she's being crazy...
