Desmond made his way to the pharmacy to get the medicine for Jette. He wandered through the street watching people. He saw some children getting ice cream with their parents. "If only they knew what parents are really like..." He thought to himself. He knew it best. After all he was the one taking in the hits and beatings from his parents each day. He nervously itched his wrists.

He winced as he accidentally scratched up one of his scars. "Disgusting." He thought. He hated the idea that his parents were able to mark him like that. "The only person allowed to do that should be me." he stated silently that no one heard,  while comparing the scars from his abuse  with the ones he inflicted himself. Hurting himself was the only was to access his blood for his power quickly. He gently glided his hand over the scars before pulling his sleeve back down.

He went inside the pharmacy. There was a queue so he got in line to wait.
In front of him stood a little girl. She had the same school uniform as him. He felt like he had seen her before. She bought some pills. He couldn't help but glance at her prescription papers. Iron pills for iron deficiency. He looked over at the name, wanting to know if he really did know her and then he saw it...

Her name...

Tiffany Pragt.

He'd heard that name before, oh yes, he had. He payed for the medicine and then went after her. He followed her a while until she stopped at a building. Even this building was something he had seen alot before.

He took hold of her shoulder and looked at her. "Tiffany..." He spoke waiting for her reaction.

She turned around facing him. "Who are you?" She asked rudely. "I'm Desmond." He said looking at her closely. It was her.

She was his sister.

"I'm your brother.." he added and smiled. He geniunely smiled... He hadn't smiled in a long time. Tiffany looked surprised and her eyes lit up with recognition. Desmond was surprised as well. He didn't expect her to show any sign of recognition. She was just an infant when he was sent away. "Desmond... It's you..." She said and hugged him, crying tears of joy. Desmond couldn't help but cry as well. Those tears were the first signs of geniune emotions in a while. "You remember me?... You were so small, I didn't expect you to..." Me mumbled gladly. "I have a very good memory. My doctors said it's a rare phenomenon where a person remembers their baby years." She explained. Desmond was proud. Atleast his sister was special as well. He studied her face. She didn't have his genetic anomaly. Her eyes were a normal shade of blue.

"I saw what they did to you.." she muttered. "I'm sorry they didn't love you." Tiffany apologized holding his hand. "It's my fault... If I wasn't born, they would've treated you better for sure.."

Desmond looked down at her eyes gently. His sister was someone he had always loved. He never blamed her. Being born or being the parents favorite, even replacing him all were not her choice. She was innocent and he loved her for that. Desmond couldn't be more glad to see her. "It's not your fault at all. How have you been? Show me your arms, have they hurt you?" He demanded and looked over her body concerned. "No! They're pretty okay to me. Might be because I'm a genius! I skipped 3 entire grades!" She showed off. "I'm 8 but already in third grade." She specified proudly.

Desmond laughed. She really was his sister. He stroked her hair. "Wanna go to my house? We can catch up on each other's lifes there." Desmond asked. Tiffany looked at him surprised. "You have a house?"

"I do, I won alot of science competitions and used the price money for it. I won around 500-3000€ for each of them, saved it all up and then got a small house." He explained thoroughly. His sister just smiled. "We're similar... I like that." She exclaimed. "Sure, I'll go with you." She said and took his hand.

Hand in hand they went to his house. Desmond was glad about this contact with his family... Though actually, she was the only family he had in his eyes. It was the first time he had happy family moments. With his dear sister, who was too much like a small version of him.

They went into his house. Desmond imidiantly searched for Lydia. "Hey Lyd! I got the medicine... And someone special." He stated.

"Oh, another member?" She wondered, turning to look at him.
"No something better." He exclaimed.

"My sister." He pulled Tiffany to his side. Lydia looked surprised but eventually smiled. "Well, welcome to our group!" She greeted her and shook hands.

Desmond was surprisingly pleased.
