Tw: wounding eye, manipulation, Desmond I think that's all.

Rachel and Page made their way to Desmond's house after school. Rachel was excited. If she could get another member, Desmond surely would be proud. It meant someone actually needed her for something.

She looked over at Page. "We should arrive soon. Only two more blocks I think." Rachel informed her. Page smiled. "Good, because I'm growing tired of walking for so long." She said in an aggressive and happy tone at the same time.

They eventually arrived and Rachel pulled out her key that Desmond had given every member and let herself enter. Desmond was standing in his kitchen making a coffee. "Oh Desmond!" Rachel exclaimed. Desmond sighed. "What is it now Rachel?" He said waiting for her to get to the kitchen. "I have someone!" She said and went into the kitchen with Page. Desmond almost spat out his coffee he had just started to drink. "Rachel you can't just let some stranger enter my house!" Desmond yelled.

Rachel grabbed Page's shoulders. "She's not just anybody, she's my best friend and wants to help.. well maybe." Rachel mumbled. Desmond looked curious. "Page is it? I think I've seen you in the circus gig last month. Lydia likes to watch those." Desmond wondered taking a sip of his coffee. "Y-Yeah, rather not talk about that. My dad forces me to do that." Page explained akwardly.

Desmond looked at Rachel. "Show me what she's capable of and I'll think about it." Desmond suggested taking another sip of his coffee. Page took a step forward. "I can control people's emotions! Well I'm not that good yet and can only choose between anger, fear, sadness and happines, but I'll give my best!" Page promised.

Desmond looked surprised. "Yeah you can join. But don't you dare tell anyone our secret. There's people at your school that shall never know about anything we do." Desmond warned her and studied her face.
Page smiled. "I won't, don't worry!" She assured him.

Desmond saw she had a very sore eye. "What happened with your eye?" He asked raising his eyebrows. "Conjunctivitis. Not a fun soreness." Page said and sighed. "Don't worry, this will end soon." Desmond grinned. Before Page was able to do anything, Desmond's sharp claws pierced her eye. She screamed in shock and pain. She didn't want to lose an eye.

When Desmond put his own blood into her eye she looked even more disturbed. "R-Rachel... I thought this was your boss, not a predator.." Page stuttered, feeling the pain of the infection kick in. Desmond laughed. "Don't you worry about that. I 'cured' your eye." He  said petting her head while she was wincing in pain.

Her eye felt funny after a while, but she could see... Oh boy she saw better than ever before. She looked at Rachel and her eye suddenly let her see the exact feeling she was feeling. This was like an extension of her power. She looked at Desmond. "What did you do to me?" She asked carefully holding her eye. Desmond chuckled. "I just made you stronger.... Who cares what happened?" Desmond stated.

Rachel looked over at him disturbed. "I thought... this would only work on limbs... Why would you do that to her?.." Rachel asked feeling very distraught. Desmond put a hand on Rachel's shoulder. " I wanted to see what I'm capable off... I'm sure Page didn't mind her eye getting an update. I even made her able to see without glasses on that eye. " Desmond explained trying to make them think positive about this.

Rachel just stared at Desmond in disbelief. She quickly hugged Page. "Page this is alright... Y-yeah, we both will work here and will sort this out. Everything's going to be alright..." Rachel tried to comfort her. "Atleast you didn't lose your eye..." She added.

Page nodded at her, trying to show Rachel she appreciates her comfort while still being upset. From something like she just experienced,.one just doesn't calm down that fast.

Page looked at Desmond. "Fine... I'll work for you... If I don't, this would all have been for nothing at all. Can't have that." Page mumbled angrily.

Desmond was delighted about her change of mind. "Of course you will! Not like I would have given you much of a choice." He grinned. Page looked at him. "What a disgusting man..." She thought to herself and then took Rachel's hand. "Can we go to our dorm for now?" Page asked and Rachel nodded taking hold of her hand as well. Desmond waved them goodbye with a fake smile.

Back at their dorm, Page took some bandages and put them over her eye after she noticed in the mirror that it was now black. She couldn't let anyone see that. She was afraid of Desmond.

After all she barely knew him or what he was capable of...
