Maria was in [Redacted]'s realm, alone and despaired. She hated being up here. While Nashi was nice and caring, Tar was a monster in her eyes. Well maybe he actually was. What did she know.

She did all her daily things, hang out with Nashi, doing Tar's deeds. Oh how she hated every single bit of it.

After she was done she layed down on the white void. Nashi came to join her.

"Young cupid, what are you doing here? Don't you have any work to do?" He asked sitting down next to her. "They can wait..." She mumbled looking away sadly. "I'd rather die again than not be with Rachel anymore." She sobbed silently. Nashi sighed. "I wanna show you a beautiful task of mine, you might do it too someday if Tar let's you." Nashi said holding out his hand indicating her to take it and follow. She looked confused. "A task? What tasks this beast gives us could be beautiful? He's totally insane." Maria yelled. Nashi chuckled. "My husband might be crazy but he's not a monster. He has a heart, I just know... Someday I'll unfold it." Nashi spoke softly and determined.

His voice always sounded soft and heavenly. He was truly a cupid, through and through. Maria nodded. "Fine... Guess I will watch you do your task." She groaned, took his hand and followed along. Nashi lead her to a place in the human realm. There were two young people on a date together. Nashi watched it quietly. "What's the task now?" Maria questioned impatiently. "Just wait." He instructed her, his voice full of patience. Maria sighed snd just watched them.

Watching them was making her sort of sad. She missed Rachel alot. After all Rachel was the only person she cared about in the entire world. Maybe also Mai and Erika, or Kate perhaps, but they're all not as important to her as Rachel. Maria layed down on the wet grass in boredom and also kind of sadness. Nashi looked over confused. "Are you feeling alright?" He asked her, taking her hand, trying to slowly pull her up. "It's fine... I wanted to lay down.. I'm just sad." She mumbled. Nashi looked at her with a bittersweet expression.

"You need to stop thinking about your past. The present is what counts." He instructed her. Maria groaned. "You don't know how hard that is! You have never been a human before." She yelled. Nashi's face turned sad. "I know. I would've loved to be one. I'm sorry." He simply states and turned his attention back to the couple. Maria sighed. "It's fine... I shouldn't have said that. It's just, I miss Rachel so much. I want her near me." Nashi looked at her seriously. "You know what Tar would do to you right?" He asked her to which she nodded with an annoyed expression.

"You can still use your powers, you know." He mumbled rasing his bow with an arrow. "There is a way you could see her. Use your power." He suggested, shooting his arrow very exactly at the target. Maria watched the womans feeling for the man next to her grow and them being so very sweet. She wanted to be like that with Rachel, no matter what.

"My power?" She asked Nashi confused. "Don't remember having one, apart from the cupid powers Tar gave me." She muttered and looked at him. He put a hand on her shoulder. "You can create life. A full on living human. All it costs you is a piece of your soul which is awesome. You can create a human with your soul and give it to Rachel, then when Tar kills you, you're still alive in the human you created. Probably without memory, but already close to Rachel." He explained. Maria's eyes lit up. This was it. A way she could flee from Tar's grip and still be with Rachel.

"Can you bring me down to her?" She asked Nashi nicely. He hesitated but then nodded. "Of course..." He replied quietly.

He teleported her near Rachel. When Maria saw her, she couldn't be happier, she almost cried. Rachel sooner or later spotted her, having quite the same reaction. Rachel dropped everything she held and ran towards her. "Maria, you live!" She exclaimed hugging her tightly. Msria held her as well. "I will be gone Rachel..." She admitted. Rachel's face darkened. "But... But you just came back." She mumbled crying. Maria wiped away her tears. "No time to explain, but I'll create a human with a part of my soul. She will live for me and stay with you. Take good care of her, promise?" She asked Rachel slowly letting go of the embrace.

Rachel continued crying heavily, covering her teary eyes. "Promise!" She managed to get out. Maria them focused all her energy on creating a girl in Rachel's age. She had long green hair and was really pretty. Maria breathed live into her with her soul and then hugged Rachel one last time. "I love you. Don't forget this me though." Maria cried holding her. Rachel nodded unable to form proper words for a moment. "I love you too..." She eventually replied. Soon after that, Rachel had to see how [Redacted] arrived behind Maria, shredding her to pieces.

Rachel knew one thing. Desmond's plan to kill [Redacted] was something she would support. For Maria and everyone who was forsaken by this disgusting creature. Rachel promised that to herself holding the girl Maria left behind.

"I'll be naming you Helena." Rachel mumbled stroking her hair and letting a few more tears leave her eyes.

Atleast Maria was still somewhere in this girl...
