The day had been busy for both toons. Rodger, of course, had been out interviewing toons all day, running from his office to a floor, back to his office, and yet another floor... Glisten had been on set, filming for the newest episode of the Gardenview TV show. To say the least, they were both exhausted.

Glisten and Rodger both arrived to their room at the same time. They had their own separate rooms of course, but they weren't keen on leaving each other alone in the night. Rodger found Glisten's presence comforting and it let him sleep easier, while Rodger's presence helped keep Glisten calm and feel less lonely. However, neither said a word as they entered the room, shutting the door behind them.

Glisten flopped down into the bed, shuffling over so Rodger would have room. Rodger peeled off his coat, placing it atop the stool at Glisten's vanity, before he made his way to the bed and laid beside Glisten.

Neither of them spoke, neither of them touched. They were too tired to bother with it, and they didn't feel inclined for more conversations. Glisten eventually wrapped his hand around Rodger's, a slow, half-asleep reach that the magnifying toon accepted. They didn't cuddle or speak still, but they had their hands intertwined. They were in this together.

Glisten fell asleep shortly after. Rodger sighed, grabbing the blanket and lightly pulling it over his beloved. Rodger settled back into his place, watching Glisten for a few minutes before he shut his own eye. He got under the blanket with Glisten, wrapping his arms around the sleeping toon. Glisten made a soft, almost startled noise, like a cat that wasn't expecting to be pet. Though, he didn't wake. Rodger shut his own eye, listening to Glisten's breathing as he drifted off to sleep.
