Posture

Rodger had never had good posture. A few years of slaving away over his papers and files had conditioned him into hunching his shoulders nearly all the time. Of course it wasn't comfortable, and Rodger sounded like a glow stick whenever he cracked his back. Glisten was always startled by the sound Rodger's bones made when he climbed into bed at night, so he'd been trying to correct it over time. It wasn't the most successful plan, but Glisten refused to give up.

"Rodger," Glisten lightly poked the area between Rodger's shoulder blades, watching the magnifying glass toon straighten his back almost immediately. Glisten couldn't help but chuckle, seeing Rodger adjust himself so quickly was a bit cute.

When Rodger was standing up straight, they were actually the same height. It surprised Glisten at first, but he didn't mind. Rodger turned his head to look at Glisten.

Glisten had his own chair, or rather a plush stool, to sit on. Rodger had bought it for him a while ago, and Glisten wasn't fond of being alone and would just pace around otherwise. He was smiling, watching Rodger work away peacefully.

Rodger sighed, setting down his pen. His back had been hurting less, ever so slightly. Maybe Glisten's corrections were helping, after all. Rodger looked back at his papers, feeling himself slouch. He could see Glisten's hand move. He wouldn't admit that he enjoyed the subtle correction, it showed that Glisten cared. Rodger felt Glisten's cold fingertips against his spine, and he sat up straight once more. Glisten's hand remained this time. Glisten hummed for a moment, in thought.

Glisten scooched his stool a bit closer to Rodger's. Noticing Glisten slouch slightly, Rodger couldn't help but chuckle. Glisten looked confused for a moment before startling, not noticing that Rodger's hand had crept up to his shoulders before he was lightly poked. Glisten blushed with embarrassment.

Glisten sighed. He sat up straight, though there was an obvious grin on his face. They would develop better posture together, one day and one poke at a time.
