Chapter 8-sneaking out

"Dad nivu illi enu maduttiddiri?" Reena asked pulling her dad into a hug.

(What are you doing here?)

"We had a meeting with Rocky. Let's leave that are you alright Reena. Nothing happened to you right?" he asked desperately inspecting his daughter who laughed lightly at his concern.

"I'm fine dad you dont worry. Avanu nannondige enu bekadaru madaballanante" Reena said proudly and Rajendra smirked to himself, patting her shoulders.

(as if he can do anything with me)

"Nanage gottu. Iga nanu Rocky bagge pascattapapadalu prarambhiside. Kaleda kelavu dinagalinda nivu avanannu estu hinsisiddiri endu yarige tilidide. Bada huduga" her dad said with fake concern and Reena scoffed at her dads sarcasm.

(i know. Now I'm starting to feel sorry for Rocky. Who knows how much you tortured him these last few days. Poor boy)

"What were all the bomb blast about?" Reena asked her dad and he sighed.

"There are actually 9 mines in KGF. Rocky wants to excavate all gold within two years so he's digging them all up now itself" Rajendra said and Reena furrowed her brows thinking.

"If KGF has a lease for 100 years, why does he want to dig it all in 2 years. He has an ulterior motive" Reena whispered to herself and her dad held her shoulder, making her look up at him.

"What are you thinking dear?" he asked and she took his hand, leading him up to her room so they can be more private.

"Ive informed the CBI that I'm living in KGF" Reena told her dad who shook his head.

"Nīvu huccaragiddira? Reena this is a dangerous game your playing. Trust me if a you get caught you will be in serious trouble" Rajendra warned his daughter who just sighed.

(Are you crazy?)

"Seriously dad, how long do you want me to sit there silently. I finally have enough evidence to get now that I'm in KGF itself. KGF needs to be taken down, or at least in government control. Did you ever think about all those poor people who work aimlessly everyday without any hope for a future" Reena argued and Desai just looked down unable to say anything.

"I know Rocky may seem better than Garuda but power changes people. I already see how different he has become, who's to say he wont become like Garuda once he gets that power, or even worse. I have to stop that before the worse happens" Reena said and her dad nodded helplessly. 

"Ill be safe okay, and ill make sure Rocky doesn't doubt anything" she added and bid her father a final goodbye. She walked over to her desk to make another call.

CBI branch Bangalore

"Hello Reena all okay?" Raghavan asked and Reena muttered a small yes.

"Sir ive just discovered a big clue in Rocky's plan. He's conducting something quite big and i dont think its something we know yet. but all i know is Rocky isn't in this alone. He has some big help from someone and we have to find out who it is" Reena said intently and they all listened.

"Okay but what is the clue?" Raghavan asked desperately.

"I cant say now sir, ill tell you everything in person. Ill try come today" Reena said.

"But how, wont Rocky find you?" Raghavan asked.

"Not if he doesn't know" Reena said with a smirk and cut the call. 

Now Reena had to think, how was she going to sneak out of KGF without Rocky knowing. Reena got to know from one of the guards that Rocky was at the mines now.
