Rocky returned from Bombay the next day and though the people were sad to see him leave, they were joyous of the fact that Bombay was finally in Rocky's control.
He strolled into the mansion, his eyes searching around desperately to get a glimpse of her. He hadn't seen her in a few days and it was making him restless.
Reena walked out just as Rocky's eyes laid on her. Her heart skipped a few beats seeing him once again. Rocky swallowed a lump in his throat and walked over to Reena who fiddled with her dupatta nervous to meet Rocky's eyes.
"Miss me?" he said, his voice soft yet seductive like a slow drumbeat, his voice reverberated through the air. Reena looked up, her eyes meeting his and the playful glint that sparkled was enough to melt all her nerves away. Reena raised a brow smirking playfully.
"Why should i miss you, it isn't like you were gone for long" She joked, her voice laced with sass and he chuckled nodding to himself. The everlasting tension faded away leaving the two of them carefree.
Rocky held a questionable face pleading "So i take that as a no?" he asked and she looked around, placing a questioning finger on her chin.
"Hmmm i wouldn't say that" she whispered and quickly bolted off to her room. Rocky stood planted in his space, processing her words.
She did miss him. The smile grew on his face, enough to blind even the sun. He was getting a step closer, the weight of her unspoken feelings crushing him.
He knew. He'd seen it in her eyes, heard it in the way her voice softened when she spoke his name. The way her laughter lingered just a beat too long when they shared a joke, as if she was afraid to let the moment end.
And still, she hadn't said the words. He could feel them hovering in the spaces between them, in every stolen glance and unspoken promise.
Part of him wanted to tell her, to bridge the gap himself and take the risk, but another part held back. He wanted her to say it first, wanted to hear her admit it aloud, free of hesitation or fear.
Because in her voice, it would be real.

"What's the issue dad" Reena asked as Rajendra welcomed himself in her room, sitting on the sofa. His face was tense, his brows furrowed as if he was caught in a whirlwind of thoughts.
"I think you should tell your mother about Adheera" Rajendra broke the news and Reena immediately stood up, rushing to his side.
"Dad please i really dont think that's a good idea. Mom might do something stupid and if Adheera finds out she is still alive he may do whatever he wants" Reena said, her voice quaking in uncertainty and worry. Rajendra sighed, rubbing his temples as he rest one arm on his knee.
"She is your mother, it isn't fair to hide this from her. At least for her sake just go speak to her dear. She will understand" Rajendra gently explained to his daughter who sighed finally nodding.
Just then Rocky walked in, adjusting his suite. He exchanged a glance with Desai and cleared his throat, gaining Reena's attention.
"Are you ready for your first meeting Chinna?" he asked with a small smirk and she rose to her feet, nervously nodding. The three of them drove to Pali where they met with the other partners.
As the big doors of the Pali opened, Reena walked side by side to Rocky and Rajendra a little bit behind them. They all sat down, Rajendra with the others and Reena with Rocky by the head seat.
"Why have you brought Reena. We dont like women involved in business" Andrews said, eyeing out Reena who's face was stern. Her hands involuntarily clenched her lehenga and Rocky who noticed her inner turmoil turned to Andrews.
