Chapter 16-love?

Rocky and Reena arrived back to India the next day and the people of KGF were very happy and relieved to see them return. Reena got out of the chopper first, dusting off the invisible dirt from her dress. 

"Bhabhi..." the little kids all ran up to her and she smiled bending down to their level. They all surrounded her, pulling her into a big hug which she reciprocated, wrapping her arms around them.

"You little monkeys, i missed you all. And guess what i got you all so many gifts" she signalled them to the chopper which began unloading lots of gifts and presents. Rocky also got out of the chopper, smiling lightly at the little kids who all ran to him in excitement. 

They clung to Rocky's legs giggling and smiling. Rocky ruffled their hairs, bending down. "Rocky bhai thank you for all the gifts" the kids said, affectionately kissing his cheek. Reena stormed up, her hand resting on her hip as she stared at them in disbelief. 

"Nanu adannu kharidisidavanu, adare thanks adu avanige" Reena said in disbelief and the kids all turned, sheepishly smiling at her.

"Thank you Bhabhi" they all shouted and she scoffed giving them a mock smile. Rocky then pulled them all closer whispering something for them to hear.

"Bhabhi got you all a very special gift, go see what it is" he said and they all ran to the back of the chopper and gasped. Rocky got up walking over to Reena and she looked at him as he smiled, a glint of mischief present in his eyes.

"What did you tell them?" Reena asked curiously and he just signalled her to watch. The kids all ran over to Reena jumping into her arms, cheering.

"Thank you Bhabhi for the bike" they all sand in chorus and she furrowed her brows confused and turned to Rocky who smiled. He gave her a small blink and she gave him surprised smile, shaking her head.

Rocky had gotten the kids a bike as a surprise but made them think that Reena had gotten it for them. It was an act of selflessness that made Reena's heart swell.

Rocky had caught Reena just before she slipped into her room, to talk about something. 

"What's wrong Rocky? What do you need to talk about" she asked and he signalled her to sit. She did and he sat opposite her, his legs crossed over each other.

"I want to make you a partner of KGF" he said directly and Reena choked on the water she was drinking.

"What-me a partner of KGF. Why?" she asked in utter shock and he smirked to himself.

"Your very dedicated about the people of KGF and we need someone like that as a partner, especially amongst so many snakes. Dont worry i already spoke to your father about this and he is alright with it" Rocky said and Reena nodded, not knowing what to possibly say.

"Now tell me what do you already know about KGF, its history or anything" he asked and Reena sighed, bringing her chin into her hands. 

"Well i know that KGF was originally found by Suryavardhan and later went to his son Garuda although there was a rumour it would go to Adheera after. But Adheera faked his death with a fake car blast and blamed it on Suryavardhan" Reena said and Rocky nodded, staring intently at Reena. 

"Looks like you know a lot, might be useful to us" Rocky said simply and Reena smiled nervously. 

"Yeah its all things ive heard from my dad" she chuckled and he held out his hand for her. She looked at it questionably and finally interlocked her hand with his, shaking it.
