16. help me

Third Person

It was evening time, the sun was almost hiding behind the hills in the far distance, making a pinkish kind of cloud appear in the sky. Heeseung, who has been playing some games on his phone, finally got bored.

Looking around he got up, walking towards Grandma's room to find the door slightly opened. Peeking inside he found the old lady, he saw the woman peacefully sleeping, a soft smile on his face before his eyes landed over the other figure that was on the desk beside the bed, her head laying over the wooden surface.

With small steps, tiptoeing he entered inside, making sure to not wake up any of the people present inside the room. Reaching near her, his eyes scanned her posture to find her peacefully sleeping.

Her silky long hair fell all over the desk while her beautiful long lashes rested on top of her cheeks. With a smile he adored her beautiful face that shined under the lamp beside her. Suddenly she moved a strand of her hair which irritated her, using his index finger Heeseung removed it from her face. Tip of his finger brushing against her soft skin causing his heart to skip.

Moving a little, the girl made herself comfortable in her sleeping position.

“Grandma, you are not going to leave me this soon...”

“Once I graduate, then I will take you with me to Seoul.”

“Heeseung you are weird...”

“Heeseung stopped teasing me, I am not short!”

Heeseung chuckled, realising that she was sleeping. Leaning forward he took out his phone to record this cute moment. Her pouty lips and fluffy cheeks made him poke them as Haerin almost woke up due to a sudden touch.

Quickly backing off, Heeseung stopped the recording, heaving a sigh, he almost got caught. “I don't think I ever met someone that makes me want to treat them like royalty.” His eyes admired her, each time causing his heart to skip whenever he was close to her.

He acted tough but deep inside he was the weakest, her timid eyes and the way she would press her lips nervously made him go crazy. He couldn't handle his overwhelming feelings that were eating him up but he can't do anything about it. He has set priorities for her and would not dare to cross it until she accepts him.

He stayed there adoring her, unaware of the fact that the old lady present in the room, who pretended to sleep, adored the affectionate moment she witnessed.

With a faint smile on her face, she finally closed her eyes, drifting to sleep, her heart filled with enthusiasm.

Kim Haerin

“Did you pack everything?” Grandma asked me the moment I came out of the room after taking a bath. Today is the day when Heeseung and I are supposed to leave. I nodded, forcing a smile to appear on my face. It was just the two of us in the house since Heeseung went to get all the necessities for the house till the caretaker came back.

She noticed my gloomy behaviour quickly heaving a sigh as she called me. “Haerin, come here.” I looked around for a second hesitating but eventually stepped forward, settling down beside her on the couch. Her wrinkly hands went over mine, squishing them as she began to speak.

“Are you still sad about the fact that you are leaving me?” She asked me for the confirmation and I nodded looking down. She sighed, shaking her head in disbelief.
