"aah i'm so excited!" sunoo squealed as they stood in line to board the plane. " it's our first trip together! i'm so happy i could literally jump all the way to japan myself!"
"haha, me too! it's actually my first time leaving the country" jungwon said with a smile.
"really? this is extra special then!" sunoo exclaimed.
"yeah! and i'm so glad i get to experience it with you"
sunoo grinned, catching up to the rest of the lineup. it wasn't long before the two had made it to the front, enthusiastically watching the worker scan their tickets and allowing them in.
due to sunoo's medical records, he was allowed to sit at the front of economy, along with a chosen friend, who was obviously jungwon.
"it's your first flight, isn't it?" sunoo asked as he calmly flipped through the safety magazines. "you nervous?"
"a bit." jungwon confessed.
sunoo's warm hand wrapped around jungwon's, a subtle action that held great impact. as the pilot announced for takeoff, sunoo could sense the boy's body tense up, so he gently fiddled with his fingers to calm him down.
the plane was soon stabilized in the air, and sunoo pulled out the tv screen at the side of his seat. although the flight was barely three hours long, they were lucky to be assigned to a large plane with in-flight entertainment.
"hey won, wanna watch a movie together?" he asked, gently tapping the younger boy's hand.
"sure, what do they have available?" jungwon agreed.
the two scrolled through the assortment of shows. unfortunately, the one they picked was incredibly boring, but since they were called to the airport at 4am that day, they were too tired to care.
they had lifted the armrest between them completely up, combining their seats together, which allowed them to snuggle close together.
however, both their eyelids began to quickly grow heavy. jungwon's head was soon found nestled in the crook of sunoo's neck. he was fast asleep. sunoo affectionately watched as he was comfortably positioned on his body, his eyes closed peacefully amidst the loud engine noise.
as the air grew colder, sunoo gingerly covered the two of them with a blanket, engulfing them in a sweet, warm feeling.
it wasn't long before sunoo too, failed to stay awake. he gently rested his head against jungwon's, resulting in the two falling sleeping, cuddled together.
moments where jungwon let himself "be" the younger one was rare. he always strived to help or protect his sunoo hyung, so it was cute seeing him be like this for once.

"attention all passengers– the plane will arrive at its destination in approximately 10 minutes. we ask that all seat belts are buckled for landing. thank you for flying korean air."
sunoo opened his eyes at the announcement. he looked around, seeing that jungwon was already awake, scrolling through the photos on his phone while still being in the same position as when he first fell asleep.
"oh, hyung, you're awake!" jungwon noted, looking up at him with his beautiful cat eyes.
"yup, heard the loudspeakers" sunoo replied.
they could soon feel that the plane was declining, and were soon able to see a bird's view of the tall buildings of osaka, japan.
