"i can't believe we're actually at universals right now!" sunoo squealed, marvelling at all the intricately designed sculptures and themed buildings.
"i know right, i wonder what convinced the teachers to take us here." jungwon agreed.
the students were all allowed to roam free around the large theme park. sunoo had already dragged jungwon to one of the roller coaster lineups as soon as the were allowed in.
the rides seem to be travelling at the speed of light, which made them both intimidating and alluring.
"wait what are we lining up for again?" jungwon asked sunoo, who just finished calculating how many rounds the roller coaster had to go until it was their turn.
"i think it's called flight of the hippogriff. we're in the harry potter section after all!" sunoo exclaimed. "and there's only three more rounds till it's our turn!"
flight of the hippogriff. jungwon did a little research on the rides before they came, and recalled this one to be mildly extreme. it wasn't the fastest, but it most certainly wasn't a calm one. knowing that, he felt a little anxiety about going on this ride, especially since he'd never been on one before.
the line suddenly seemed to go by quickly, till him and sunoo were the third and fourth people in line.
"we're next!" sunoo said with a grin. "are you excited?"
"definitely!" jungwon 'smiled'.

the two were three rides in, and jungwon didn't think he could do it anymore. perhaps his motion sickness played part in it or something, but he felt like his stomach was legitimately about to come out of his throat. his heart was beating fast, too much for him to control. he didn't expect his body to give up on him this early. all he needed right now was to sit down and rest for a while.
"hyung, do you wanna get something to eat for now?" jungwon suggested. "it'd be nice to take a break."
"sure, how bout we go to..." sunoo pondered. "that hogsmeade cafe over there!"
"sounds good!" jungwon agreed, thanking the heavens that sunoo chose a restaurant close to them.
they walked in, and weren't greeted by many people, since it was technically the middle of the school day. they quickly sat down, which jungwon was very grateful for. he was very tired though, hiding that fact from sunoo by covering his face with a menu.

half an hour of rest later, he felt better. not well enough to go back on a roller coaster though. this was probably the first and last time he was going to go on one.
"are you sure you don't wanna go on a ride?" sunoo asked, gently checking jungwon for any signs that showed he wasn't feeling well.
"I just don't think i can handle them well." jungwon said. "sorry hyung"
"why are you apologising, you did nothing wrong" sunoo said, giving him a pat on the back.
"well i kinda feel like im stopping you from having fun" jungwon frowned.
"jungwon, you're the reason i have fun!" sunoo said. "I don't care what i'm doing as long as i'm with you"
"...really?"
"yes! gosh i'd think after all we'd been through you'd know how much you mean to me" sunoo laughed. "and besides, there's still tons to do here"
"thanks hyung," jungwon let out a small smile.
the two spent the rest of the day going around all the shops and food stands, which was honestly more fun than waiting in line for up to over an hour just to go on a minute-long ride.
it made jungwon feel better to see his best friend happily eating different foods and trying on merchandise. after all, they did mean the world to each other.

"that was definitely the first and last time i'm going on a plane" jungwon sighed as the students got off the airplane back to korea.
"don't be silly, we still have to travel together when we're older!" sunoo exclaimed
"korea's got nice places, we can stay there" jungwon chuckled.
