As the car progresses, Maya's exhaustion catches up to her and she slowly drifts off to sleep in her seat.

Andy and Megan exchange a glance, silently acknowledging her need for rest. They continue the drive, keeping the conversation low to allow Maya to sleep peacefully.

The car eventually arrives near the station, and Andy slowly pulls up to a stop. She glances over at Maya, who is fast asleep in the back seat, then turns to Megan.

Andy speaks quietly, her voice filled with a hint of concern and affection, "Looks like she's out cold. We should probably carry her inside. I don't think she'll wake up easily."

Megan nodded in agreement, her expression filled with concern for her friend.

She spoke quietly, her voice reflecting her worry yet determination, "Yeah, let's be careful not to wake her. She needs all the rest she can get right now."

Andy carefully unbuckles Maya's seatbelt, gently scooping her up in her arms. Maya's head rests against her chest, her breathing soft and slow in her sleep.

Andy spoke quietly, her voice filled with tenderness and care, "Okay, I've got her. Let's be careful not to wake her up as we head inside."

Megan nods, her expression filled with relief and gratitude for Andy's assistance.

She speaks quietly, her voice filled with sincere appreciation, "Thanks, Andy. She looks pretty knocked out."

Andy smiled faintly, her expression filled with a mixture of concern and affection.

She chuckled softly, her voice filled with a hint of humor, "Yeah, she's dead to the world right now. I don't think a fire alarm could wake her up."

Megan chuckled softly, her expression reflecting her amusement at Andy's comment.

She spoke quietly, her voice light and joking, "Well, let's hope we don't have to test that hypothesis. Let's get her inside and comfortable so she can rest."

Andy nodded in agreement, shifting Maya's weight slightly in her arms.

She spoke quietly, her voice filled with determination and care, "Yeah, let's get her settled. The couches in the common room should be comfy enough for her to rest on for now."

Megan walks beside Andy as they make their way into the station.

She spoke quietly, her voice filled with concern yet determination, "Yeah, the couches should be good. Just be careful not to wake her up as we lay her down."

Andy nodded again, her expression filled with reassurance.

She spoke quietly, her voice filled with a hint of confidence, "Don't worry, I'll be gentle. We'll get her in a comfortable position, and then we can let her rest."

They arrive at the common room, the couches in sight. Andy carefully walks over and gently lays Maya down on one of the couches, being careful not to wake her.

Megan stands nearby, watching as Andy tucks a pillow under Maya's head and drapes a light blanket over her. She speaks quietly, her voice filled with appreciation and care, "Thanks, Andy. You're a life saver, literally."

As Travis, Theo, Jack, Dean, Sullivan, Vic, Ben and Emmett enter the station, they notice Maya asleep on the common room couch, her weariness evident. They start to ask questions, their concern for their captain apparent in their voices.

Travis spoke first, his voice filled with worry, "Hey, what's going on? Is Maya okay?"

Sullivan's expression was filled with concern as he spoke, "Yeah, she looks exhausted. What happened?"
