Megan looked at Maya and said "So I can get a niece or nephew soon."

Maya's eyes widened at Megan's comment, her heart skipping a beat. She glanced at Carina, a mix of surprise and excitement in her expression.

Maya turned back to Megan, a small smile on her face. "Well, we still need to find the perfect house first, and you know, I have a little something planned for tonight that might make that whole... family planning thing a bit more real."

Megan looked at Maya and whispered "Your going to propose."

Maya's eyes widened even more at Megan's whispered revelation, her heart fluttering in her chest. She leaned in closer to Megan, responding in a hushed tone.

Maya replied in a whisper, "How did you know?"

Megan shrugged, a sly smile on her face. "Well, I saw how twitchy you were when Carina mentioned baby planning. And plus, you were practically vibrating back there when you guys were talking about houses. It doesn't take a genius to figure out you're planning something big."

Maya let out a nervous laugh, feeling a mix of surprise and relief at being seen through so easily. "That obvious, huh? Guess I'm not as stealthy as I thought."

Megan flashed a knowing smile, as if she had all the answers. "Or, I just know you better than you think. So, when are you gonna pop the question? Tonight?"

Maya nodded, a mixture of excitement and nervousness in her eyes. "Yeah, tonight. Everything's all set up. I just need to make sure the ring is perfect first."

Megan's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, you don't have the ring yet? You're proposing tonight and you're ring-less? Maya Bishop, you're playing it mighty close to the wire."

Maya winced at Megan's words, knowing she was right. "I know, I know. But there's a plan in motion. Andy and Travis are on ring duty right now. They're scouring the city for the perfect one."

Megan looked skeptical. "Andy and Travis? You're delegating your proposal plan to those two? That's a bit like asking the Energizer bunny to plan a quiet night in."

Maya chuckled at Megan's accurate description of her two friends. "Yeah, they're not the most subtle on their own, but they're doing this for me. I trust them. They'll come through."

Megan smirked, the skepticism replaced with a hint of amusement. "Alright, I'll give you credit for that. When those two are determined, they can get things done. Just don't let them turn it into some grand spectacle. Carina deserves a beautiful but sincere proposal."

Maya looked at Megan and said "I am doing it at the fair tonight so you want to come are you better because I am taking the whole team to the fair."

Megan perked up at the mention of the fair. "Are you kidding? A night at the fair with the team sounds awesome. I'm definitely in."

Maya smiled, happy to have a familiar face joining her on this special evening. "Great, it'll be a team bonding night. Just be prepared for some competitive carnival games and unhealthy fair food."

Megan's eyes widened with mischief. "Oh, don't worry, I fully intend to kick everyone's butts at the carnival games. And I'm definitely getting my fill of cotton candy and fried dough."

Amelia looked at Megan and said "Well you're clear to go just be careful."

Megan grinned excitedly, feeling a surge of energy coursing through her. "Hell yeah, I'm ready to go. No more hospital beds for me. Time to get back to real life and kick some carnival ass."

Amelia chuckled at Megan's enthusiasm, shaking her head. "Take it easy, there, warrior princess. You may be out of the hospital bed, but that doesn't mean you're invincible. Just make sure to take it easy and listen to your body, alright?"
