Andy and Vic shared a knowing glance. They understood the power of distraction amidst pain.

Vic spoke up, her voice soft but cheerful. "Sure, sweetie. How about we tell you a little story about the time we had a friendly prank war at the station?"

Maggie blinked, her interest piqued by the mention of a prank war. "Prank war? What happened?"

Vic chuckled, her tone light and lively. "Well, it started with a harmless prank on our captain, but it quickly escalated into a full-on prank war between the teams. We had secret alliances, unexpected betrayals, and some pretty creative tricks up our sleeves. It got so intense that we had to declare a truce eventually."

Maggie's lips curved into a faint smile, her mind focusing on the story rather than her pain. "That sounds... pretty awesome. Who won the prank war?"

Andy chimed in, her tone amused. "Well, we didn't really keep score, but I think the whole station won in some way. It was a lot of fun and brought us closer together. Plus, we learned some pretty valuable lessons about payback and teamwork."

As they shared the story with Maggie, Andy and Vic noticed her eyelids drooping, her strength visibly waning.

Andy's expression darkened as she noticed Maggie's weakening state. "Vic, she's fading again. We need to get her to the hospital, fast."

Vic nodded urgently, quickly checking Maggie's vital signs. "You're right, her pulse is weak. We need to get her loaded into the ambulance. I'll radio dispatch to let them know we're on our way."

Andy gently squeezed Maggie's hand, trying to keep her engaged. "Just hold on, sweetheart. We're going to get you to the hospital, and you'll see Sophia there. Hang in there a little longer."

Maggie managed a faint nod, her eyes fluttering open as she fought against the pull of unconsciousness. "Sophia... I just want to see her..."

Andy's heart ached at Maggie's exhausted plea. "You will, sweetie. We'll get you to her, but you need to stay conscious for just a little longer. Can you do that for us?"

Maggie nodded weakly, her breathing labored as she fought to stay awake. Her grip on consciousness was slipping, but she clung on, driven by her determination to see Sophia again.

Andy and Vic exchanged worried glances, the urgency of Maggie's condition weighing heavily on both of them. With each passing second, they knew they were running out of time.

Vic quickly radioed in to dispatch, her voice filled with urgency. "Station 19 to dispatch, we have a young female with severe leg injury in an MVC. We're en route to Grey Sloan. ETA five minutes. Need trauma team standing by."

The response came swiftly from dispatch. "Copy that, Station 19. We've already notified Grey Sloan and their trauma team is ready to receive your patient."

Andy took a steadying breath, her focus razor-sharp as she prepared to load Maggie into the ambulance. "Alright, sweetheart, just a few more minutes, and you'll be at the hospital. Hang in there, okay?"

Maggie nodded weakly, her words barely audible. "I'll... I'll try... just promise me... you'll find Sophia. Tell her... I'm okay."

Andy and Vic exchanged a solemn glance, their hearts aching for the girl's worry for her girlfriend.

Andy spoke gently, her voice filled with determination. "We promise, sweetheart. We'll make sure Sophia knows you're okay, and we'll talk to her ourselves. You just focus on holding on for us, alright?"
