Juniper sat in her dressing room, letting the soft buzz of her phone provide a steady rhythm as the makeup artist gave her look the final touches. The screen lit up with Jenna's face, her voice bright with enthusiasm.

"Juni, babe, breathe! You're going to do amazing," Jenna reassured her. "You've done shows like this before. Just think of it as another conversation."

Juniper smiled, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I know, I know. I'm just a stress-head, you know that Jen."

Jenna's laughter rang through the phone, a sound Juniper found comforting. "True, but you're also a natural. Just focus on how proud you are of this album. Besides, in less than two weeks, you'll get to watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice with me at the premiere, and cheer me on!"

Juniper grinned, excitement bubbling up. "I wouldn't miss it for the world. I can't wait to be supporting you on again."

A soft knock at the door reminded her of the time. She looked up, meeting her makeup artist's approving nod. "Alright, they're calling me, Jen. I've got to go."

"Go knock 'em dead," Jenna cheered. "And text me as soon as you're done. I love you!"

"I love you, too," Juniper whispered, hanging up and drawing in a deep breath.

Moments later, the stage lights felt blinding as she walked toward Jimmy Fallon's warm, familiar presence, his enthusiasm radiating to her as the audience applauded. She gave a little wave, feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement as she took her seat.

"Juniper Wren, everyone!" Jimmy exclaimed, clapping along with the audience. "It's so good to have you here again."

"Thanks for having me again, Jimmy," Juniper said, settling into her seat. "It's always a pleasure to be here."

"Alright, so let's talk about this incredible year you've had," he began. "Your album, Short n Sweet, is still killing it! You've been breaking records, and people are so pumped up about the upcoming tour. How has it felt?"

Juniper smiled, her gaze drifting slightly as she gathered her thoughts. "Honestly, it's been surreal. I poured so much of myself into Short n Sweet, and to see people connecting with it the way they have...it's been incredible. I'm just grateful to be able to share these songs with everyone."

"And I hear the tour is in its finalising stages, and it's a whole lot bigger than any of your previous tours?" Jimmy asked, leaning forward with interest. "How's that coming along?"

She nodded, her excitement shining through. "Yes! We're going to some new cities and even some places I haven't toured in before. The energy on stage, with everyone singing along... I've missed it. I can't wait to get back out there."

"Short n Sweet—it's such an interesting mix. There's this mix of pop and country-pop, and the fans love it. But the lyrics of some are intense," Jimmy said, clearly intrigued. "A personal favourite of mine was 'Vicious'."

Juniper laughed softly, her cheeks flushing. "Yeah, I didn't hold back with that one. It's always nerve-wracking to be so open in my writing, but it's also therapeutic. I think the more honest you are, the more people resonate with it. Each song on Short n Sweet was a part of me, of what I was feeling at that time."
