The late morning sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of Juniper's Hollywood Hills mansion, casting a warm glow over the cosy scene in her kitchen.

The group of friends, still lounging in their pajamas, were slowly coming to life after last night's celebrations. The air was filled with the delicious smell of sizzling bacon, scrambled eggs, and fresh coffee, courtesy of Jenna and Vinnie, who had taken over the kitchen.

"Okay, someone better appreciate my masterful pancake-flipping skills," Vinnie declared, flipping another golden pancake onto a growing stack.

He wore a ridiculous pink apron Juniper had gotten as a gag gift, and it only added to the comedic charm. Jenna snorted, expertly whisking a bowl of eggs.

"Masterful? You dropped the first two," she teased, earning a dramatic gasp from Vinnie.

"Those were practice rounds," he shot back, waving the spatula in mock indignation. "The true artist always experiments."

"Sure, Van Gogh," Juniper quipped from the dining table, where she was sipping coffee and watching the scene unfold.

Her eyes sparkled with amusement as she glanced around at her friends. Lila and Louis were sitting close together, Louis' arm around her shoulders, while Jack lounged in the corner, a lazy grin on his face as he observed the chaos.

The group eventually gathered at the dining table, which was now laden with a breakfast feast—pancakes, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, and an assortment of pastries. Juniper's Amazon Alexa played Fleetwood Mac's Landslide played in the background, adding to the relaxed atmosphere.

"So, let's talk about last night," Louis said, grinning as he reached for a piece of bacon. "Juni, you absolutely killed it. That crowd was insane."

"Right?" Lila chimed in, her voice full of admiration. "And the way you brought me and Louis out as surprises? Genius. Twitter's still losing it."

Juniper smiled, her cheeks flushing slightly. "I just wanted to make the last show special. Having you two up there made it perfect." She turned to Lila with a playful grin. "And don't think I didn't notice how you and Louis couldn't stop making goo-goo eyes at each other backstage."

Lila laughed, glancing at Louis. "Okay, guilty as charged. But seriously, thank you for being so supportive. I know it could've been weird, considering..." She trailed off, glancing at Juniper cautiously.

Juniper waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, please. I'm over that. You two are disgustingly cute, and I'm just glad it worked out. Besides, Louis and I were a lifetime ago. We're better as friends."

Louis gave her a grateful smile. "Thanks, June. That means a lot."

The conversation shifted to lighter topics as the group recounted funny moments from the night before. Vinnie's attempt to dance along to 'Taste' had everyone in stitches, and Jenna's overenthusiastic singing during 'Please Please Please' was met with mock applause.

"You're welcome for my contribution," Jenna said proudly, earning a round of laughter.

Juniper's heart swelled as she looked around the table. These were her people, her chosen family. The warmth and laughter they brought into her life were priceless, and she felt a deep sense of contentment.
