The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled Juniper's hotel suite as she finished getting ready for breakfast with Vinnie. She adjusted her glasses in the mirror, and grabbed her bag. The morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a golden glow over the room.

Jenna's behavior earlier had been odd. She'd been suspiciously cagey in her texts, claiming she couldn't join Juniper and Vinnie because of some vague errand.

"Don't wait for me, enjoy breakfast!" Jenna had messaged, followed by a winking emoji that did little to ease Juniper's suspicion.

Juniper frowned at her phone before shrugging it off. Since when was Jenna vague about her plans? Still, she shrugged it off. Jenna was always busy, and besides, Vinnie was cooking up something special for breakfast. Today wasn't the day to overthink things. It was her final show of the US leg of the Short n Sweet tour, and the last thing she needed was to spiral over Jenna's cryptic behavior.

Vinnie's suite was just down the hall. When she knocked, the door swung open immediately, revealing him standing there with a wide grin.

"Perfect timing," he said, stepping aside to let her in.

Juniper gasped as she walked in. The small dining table was covered with an array of breakfast foods—croissants, pancakes, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and even a mini stack of bagels with assorted spreads.

"Vinnie, what is this?" she asked, laughing.

He grinned, clearly proud of himself. "A little celebratory breakfast. It's your big day, Juni. Had to do it right."

Her heart warmed at the gesture. She stepped closer, wrapping her arms around him in a quick hug. "You're the best, seriously. Thank you."

"Yeah, yeah," he said, brushing it off with mock humility. "Now sit your diva ass down and let's eat before it all gets cold."

Juniper laughed as she took a seat, Vinnie sliding into the chair across from her. She grabbed a croissant, tearing it apart as she surveyed the spread.

"This is amazing, Vin. You've really outdone yourself," she said, her tone teasing but sincere.

Vinnie shrugged, loading his plate with eggs and fruit. "Well, you deserve it. Last North American show—big deal, huh?"

Juniper nodded, chewing thoughtfully. "Yeah, it feels surreal. Like, I've been living in this bubble of tour life for months, and now it's almost done. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself during the break."

"Maybe sleep for once?" Vinnie quipped, smirking.

"Funny," she shot back, rolling her eyes. "But seriously, I'm going to miss it. The energy, the fans, the routine of it all. It's exhausting, sure, but it's also the best thing in the world."

Vinnie studied her for a moment. "You're not... sad about it ending, are you?"

"Not sad, exactly," Juniper said, leaning back in her chair. "Just... bittersweet. But I'm excited for tonight. I've got some surprises planned. It's going to be a good one."
