A gentle crash of the oceans waves against the rocky beaches echoed through the mountainous cliffs of Dragon's Edge. Everyone was sound asleep in their beds except Ivar who currently rested on Char's back keeping watch for the night. It was a simple task that mostly meant supervising the Night Terror sentries that were posted across the entire island. It was yet another thing that Sun had trained the dragons to be able to do, although sometimes, Ivar wondered if it really was training at all that made them do it. A dragon defends its own. That was one of the first things Sun taught Ivar about dragons, and from what Ivar had seen in the year that he had been with the Dragon Riders it was that Sun was one with the dragons. They respected him, they feared him, and they cared for him all at once. It was incredible!! But the best part was that he didn't use this gift for himself, instead he used it to gain peace and protection for both humans and dragons. What kind of a person just chooses to do something like that?! But of course that wasn't enough for Sun because he was still a wonderful leader that cared deeply about his team no matter what. Ivar knew that Eret and Heather felt the same way, he even knew that was how Charr felt, but still...

"I miss, Sun."

Char let out a little warble before suddenly standing up to sniff the air.

"What is it, Char? Do you see something?!"

A light grunt was his response, and he was about to draw his Fury Steel sword, which Sun had made for him, and sound the alarm but was stopped by the distant squawking of a little yellow Terror. They were needed right away! Drago was attacking again!!

It didn't take them more than twenty minutes to arrive at the island in question since they recently decided to keep their dragon's saddled up for the time being. The attacks were becoming more and more frequent for them not to, and this time was no exception! The island in question was lit up like a torch emerging from the waters of the horizon. Fire covered most of the forested areas and the village wasn't far from joining it. After a small loop around the island, they determined that the hunters had come ashore from the northeast side, and were conducting most of their activities over there, so they would be to start evacuating people from the southern parts of the island.

"Ivar, you're with me on distraction detail! Heather, gather as many people as you can on that first ship down there after we clear it off!!"

Eret barked. Both riders nodded to him before the boys dove down to the ship Eret had selected earlier and made quick work of clearing the hunters on board while Heather worked on loading people and tracking them down. Ivar and Eret moved on to dismantling the rest of the surrounding enemy ships, and after a while Heather came to join them in her dragon.

"Everyone on the island has been evacuated and set sail for Dragon's Edge, but I've been informed that the hunters took prisoners."

Heather reported.

"Which dragons did they take?"

Eret asked. The level of security would depend on the specific dragons they took.

"Nothing in particular, but that isn't all they took this time."

Heather answered.

"You mean..."

She nodded.

"They took human prisoners this time, and all of them are stored on the largest ship docked near the northeast part of the island."

"We can't let Drago take them!!!"

Ivar exclaimed.

"Ivar's right, but we'll have to do it quickly before they start setting sail into deeper waters or we'll risk the ship sinking."
