Zatariel Wov

His Pov

I was about to climb the stairs, my feet heavy with a mixture of confusion and frustration, when Kyliah called out to me, her voice filled with a playful energy that I couldn't quite muster.
"Come on, join us!"

I shook my head, my gaze fixed on the stairs, but Marie, ever the instigator, grabbed my arm and pulled me towards Mimi.

She pushed me forward, and I stumbled, landing awkwardly on the sofa next to Mimi.

My face landed on her chest, the soft fabric of her shirt against my cheek.
Her scent, a delicate blend of floral perfume and something sweet and clean, filled my senses. I froze, my heart pounding in my chest.
She wasn't wearing a bra?

I heard Marie apologize, her voice laced with amusement, but Mimi didn't move.
She remained still, her breath shallow and uneven.

I was about to stand up, when Thyron suddenly grabbed my t-shirt, pulling me away from Mimi.

He knelt in front of her, his hand cupping her cheek, his thumb gently stroking her skin.
He stood up, his lips brushing against her forehead in a tender kiss.

"Oh my gosh, I'm getting goosebumps!" Kyliah rolled her eyes

Marie laughed, her eyes twinkling with a mischievous delight.

I wanted to scream, to shout my frustration, my jealousy, my longing.
"I'm so jealous, can I have her?" But the words died in my throat.
I was trapped, a spectator in a love story that wasn't mine.

"Alright, alright, enough with the lovebirds! We single folks are starting to feel a little left out, haha. Let's get this introduction party started. I'm Alixana Marie Ramirez Duke, 15 years young, straight outta Blue City. You all know I'm a transferee from Ateni University, but I'm here now because, well, let's just say I'm a bit of a genius. Hope we can all get along until graduation. What do you say?"

Marie's voice, sharp and confident, cut through the air, breaking the spell of the awkward silence.
Kyliah, ever the gentle soul, stood up next, her smile soft and genuine.

"Hi, I'm Kyliah Tuazon Vargas. I'm 14, and I've been bouncing around a bit, living with relatives in Blue City, Red City, and Yellow City.
But I'm so grateful to have gotten a scholarship and made it into the top 5! Let's have a great school year together."

Thyron stood up, his gaze lingering on Mimi, who was now looking down, her fingers nervously twisting in her lap.

He was a study in contrasts, his handsome features softened by a tenderness that seemed reserved only for her.

"Thyron Lu Sebastian, I just turned 18 the day before yesterday."

Mimi lifted her face, her eyes meeting his.
She gave him a peace sign and mouthed "sorry," a small, apologetic gesture that tugged at my heart.

The day before yesterday, huh? I smiled, remembering that day at the fantasy resort.
She's with me on his birthday

"My sister's a sophomore here in the Academy. Just a heads-up, Exy can be a bit stubborn, so be patient with her, okay?"

He sat down, and Mimi stood up, her smile radiating warmth.

She looked at each of us, her eyes lingering on me for a moment, and I saw a flicker of sadness in their depths.

"Hi, I'm Miexha Wayne Verra. I'm 15, and I'm the youngest of six siblings.
I also have two nephews, and my Maine Coon cat will be joining us tomorrow! Oh, and I have a hearing impairment, so... Anyway, we'll be together this school year, and that makes you all my family for now."

Mimi hugged each of us, her embrace warm and comforting.

I held her close, savoring the warmth of her body against mine, wishing I could hold her forever.

But I had to let go.

Thyron's gaze was like a searing brand, and I felt a shiver run down my spine.

When Mimi sat down, they all looked at me, their eyes filled with a curious anticipation.
I sighed, my heart pounding in my chest.

"Zatariel Locsin Wov, 15, the student council president. Nice meeting you."

That's all I could think of saying, and I sat down, feeling utterly out of my depth.

"Wait? That's it? You're done?" Kyliah asked, her voice laced with amusement.

"Alright, Zat, let's see those hands. Single or crushing? Just curious, you know, if silent types can fall in love too, haha," Marie said, her voice dripping with mischief.

She leaned back in her chair, her eyes sparkling with a playful challenge.

I could sense a hidden agenda behind her teasing, a desire to stir the pot and see how things would play out.

My heart pounded in my chest, a mixture of nervousness and a strange sense of exhilaration.
I looked at Mimi, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"I'm in love with you,"

I said, my voice a low rumble, barely above a whisper.
I felt a wave of heat rush through me, my face burning with embarrassment.

I have to get out of here, maybe I should visit Jay tonight.
