Third person point of view
In the dimly lit gym of Verra Condominiums, the air was thick with the hum of alien machinery and the agonized cries of humanity.
Miexha's screams echoed against the cold metal walls, her pleas for mercy from Zenips' cruelty.
Nearby, Zatariel, battered and broken, barely clung to consciousness as the Zenips extracted his genetic material.
His voice was hoarse, muttering Miexha's name in a delirious attempt to comfort her.Thyron, just observed a hollow expression.
His hands trembled as he recorded data, but he didn't intervene.
The fear of defying the Zenips' puppeteer, Mr. Hamilton, outweighed his guilt."Miexha's compatibility is off the charts," Hamilton noted coldly, his tone devoid of empathy.
"Proceed with the defloration. We need her womb ready for insemination."A Zenips disguised in human form stepped forward with a syringe, drawing Miexha's blood before forcing her down.
Her sobs grew louder, and Zatariel's weak cries joined hers, though he lacked the strength to move.
Thyron just shouted that it wasn't a part of the deal but he immediately shut up fearing the ZenipsSuddenly, a faint vibration rippled through the gym floor.
It grew stronger, accompanied by the unmistakable hum of energy weapons charging outside."Do you hear it?" Damian whispered to the group gathered in the shadows near the entrance. His glowing eyes narrowed, scanning for weak points in the gym's defenses.
"They are here."Marie clenched her fists, her hybrid senses picking up the faint echoes of Miexha's cries.
"It's Miexha," she said through gritted teeth.Damian's grip tightened on his blood-forged blade.
"This is it," he said, his tone grave. "We have one chance to save the kids, Remember the enemy stronger than any enemy you've faced."Diannah, Zaren, and the wolves braced themselves.
"We'll create a distraction," Diannah said, motioning to her team.
"You two get to Miexha and Zatariel."The group burst into the gym, chaos erupting instantly.
Damian moved with deadly precision, his blade cutting down Zenips guards as if they were paper.
Beside him, Marie unleashed bursts of energy from her gauntlet, obliterating machinery and scattering enemies.Thyron hesitated for a moment, then made a split-second decision.
He scooped Miexha's limp form off the floor, her brown hair falling over his arms, and started toward Hamilton."Where are you going with her?" Hamilton barked, suspicion flashing in his eyes.
"They'll kill us all!" Thyron shouted, feigning panic.
"We need to move her now!"Meanwhile, Kyliah, hidden in the shadows, attempted to approach the group. Before she could act, a Zenips guard lunged at her, sinking a blade into her stomach. She collapsed, blood pooling beneath her.
Zaren found Zatariel lying naked and bruised on the floor.
"Zaaaat!" he cried, shaking his son.
"Wake up! Please!"Zatariel's eyes fluttered open briefly, his lips forming the faintest whisper.
"Dad... help her..."Diannah, searching desperately for her sister, was cornered by a Zenips guard.
Before it could strike, Damian intervened, his blade tearing through the attacker.
He moved toward Diannah, every step driven by a mix of alien power and human rage."Behind you!" Marie shouted as another Zenips lunged at Damian. She intercepted it, her movements a blur, shielding her father from harm.
A chilling voice cut through the chaos.
"You always did enjoy theatrics, your highness."Emerging from the shadows was Arde, a royal knight of the Zenips, her blue veins glowing faintly in the dim light.
She carried herself with an air of unshakable confidence, her energy staff crackling with power."You should've stayed in hiding," Arde said, her gaze piercing.
"But here you are, risking everything for what? A hybrid pet and some humans?"Damian stepped forward, his blade gleaming.
"I'm not the same fool you exiled, Arde."Arde smirked.
"The seeds are already sown, Damian. Soon, the Earth will be ready for their arrival. You're too late."Marie raised her gauntlet, energy pulsating.
"Not if we stop you here."With a wave of her hand, Arde summoned more Zenips guards.
"Let's see you try."Damian and Marie fought side by side, their attacks a deadly dance of precision and power.
Damian's blade clashed against Arde's staff, sparks flying as they traded blows.
Marie, meanwhile, planted an EMP device in the room amidst the chaos."The countdown has started!" Marie shouted as she rejoined Damian.
"Sixty seconds!"With a final, devastating blow, Damian slashed Arde across the chest, forcing her to retreat.
The royal Zenips stumbled, her aura flickering."This isn't over," Arde hissed before vanishing into the shadows.
Damian didn't reply.
Instead, he scooped Zatariel into his arms while Marie carried the unconscious Kyliah.
Zaren grabbed Diannah's hand, guiding her toward the exit.As the EMP detonated, the gym was bathed in a blinding pulse of energy.
They escaped into the night, their mission incomplete but their resolve is stronger than ever.
The war had only begun.
