Third person point of view

On the third day of the school term, Damian's worst fears had materialized: Ofreigha, the girl who bore an uncanny resemblance to his lost love Lianah, had vanished without a trace.
The news spread quickly, her friends and family frantically searching every corner of Green City for her.
Damian, knowing the Zenips' patterns too well, quietly added Ofreigha's case to the Wolves' investigation, suspecting that her disappearance was connected to Miexha's.

Green City remained in lockdown, its citizens reeling from the aftermath of the Mimic Virus.
Although the spread had stopped and vaccinations were underway, the fear and chaos lingered.
Under the guise of containment, the Zenips quietly worked to complete their experiments.

The Laboratory at Green City Botanical Gardens

Inside the sterile, shadowy laboratory, Miexha lay on a metallic table, her body frail and her swollen belly unnaturally large.
Only Four months had passed since the Zenips had injected her with an experimental combination of Zatariel's genetic material and their own alien DNA. Yet, the life inside her had grown at an alarming rate.
Her breaths were shallow, her body weak.

A mechanical hum filled the room as the Zenips scientists observed her through glass walls.
Moments later, the room buzzed with activity as Miexha went into labor.
She screamed, her voice echoing in the cold room, as the scientists monitored every detail.

After agonizing hours, she gave birth to a blonde-haired baby girl.
The lab staff immediately surrounded the child, their glowing blue veins pulsating with excitement.

"She is perfect," Zenips said, lifting the infant.
"A true royal hybrid. Xefariel shall be her name the future queen of the Earth."

Miexha barely registered the words.
Her vision blurred, and her strength faded as the scientists carried the child away.
The lab decided to transfer her to a secondary facility, an abandoned building on the outskirts of Red City, where another critical subject awaited her.

Ofreigha's Captivity

In the decaying halls of the Red City facility, Ofreigha sat in a cold room.
Her hands instinctively cradled her swollen belly.
The child inside her, growing slowly yet steadily, was her anchor.
She whispered prayers under her breath, her thoughts filled with Jay, her boyfriend, and the hope that he was safe.

The Zenips had initially canceled their plans for Ofreigha after discovering her pregnancy, a complication due to her body's unexpected ability to reject extraction through what they called "double pulses."
Yet, they saw potential in her unborn child, a rare and invaluable specimen.
They decided she would become a breeding vessel, destined to produce clones.

When Miexha was brought to her room, the two women formed a fragile bond, their shared suffering uniting them. Ofreigha, added to her worries due to Miexha mental state she plotted their escape, knowing it was their only chance at survival.

The Escape

Late one night, Miexha and Ofreigha seized the opportunity to escape.
Ofreigha led the way through the facility's dark corridors, clutching her belly and suppressing her cries of pain.
They reached the edge of the building, breaking into the open air.

"I'll get help," Ofreigha said, her voice trembling but determined. She placed Miexha under a tree, ensuring she was hidden, before venturing out into the night.

Moments later, as Miexha lay barely conscious, Thyron appeared, his expression conflicted.
He lifted her limp body and shoved her into the back seat of a car, his urgency palpable.
The car sped down the road, but in his haste, Thyron lost control, and the vehicle skidded off the road into a tree.
