Sarah rushed out of the office, her mind racing.

    Where was Jamin?

As she drove home, Sarah's anxiety escalated.

She called Maria, the housekeeper. "Did you call the police?"

"Yes, they're on their way," Maria reassured.

Sarah's eyes scanned the neighborhood, searching for any sign of Jamin.

The police car parked outside her house sent a chill down her spine.

Sarah rushed inside, where Officer Justin greeted her.

"Sarah, we will do everything we can to find Jamin. Right now we are going to search his room and I'll ask Maria some questions."

     Sarah's voice cracked. "Thank you."

As the search began, Sarah's thoughts spiraled.

Was this related to Juke's death?

    Was Jamin in danger?

The minutes ticked by like hours. Sarah's worried state turned to confusion as she saw all the officers go back into their vehicles.

   Have they found him?

Officer Justin called Sarah to the front of the yard, there he was standing with a letter.

"Why are the officers going back have they found him?", Sarah asked.

"Jamin is not missing, he ran away."

Sarah's was shocked. "What the hell do you mean he ran away?"

Justin handed her a letter. "We found this under his bed."

Sarah was at a loss for words.

   "Dear Mom,

I Know You're Trying Your Best, But Everything Feels Too Much Right Now. Dad's Gone, And I Miss Him So Much. Seeing You Struggle, Too, Is Breaking My Heart.

I Feel Lost And Alone, Like Nobody Understands Me. I Know You're Trying To Hold Everything Together, But It's Hard For Me To Watch. Your Sadness and Worry Are Suffocating Me.

I Need Some Time To Figure Things Out, To Process My Own Feelings. Being Here, Surrounded By Memories Of Dad, Is Too Painful.

Please Don't Worry About Me. I'll Be Okay. I Just Need Some Space.

I Love You, Mom. I Know You Love Me Too.

   Jamin

P.S. I left you a small detailed medicine bag and an Apple slicer in a box under my bed."

"We are trying to prove if the letter is from him so we've-."

"Don't bother", Sarah interrupted ," It is him who wrote this. He told me that whenever he texts or writes something to me and he means business then he'll make the first letter of each word a capital."

"I'm sorry Sarah I'm sure he'll come back soon. I'll search for him too", Officer Justin reassured.

"Is that the box?", Sarah asked.

   "Yes it is, here."

Sarah opened the box and found a pink apple slicer and two small medicine bags with a timer for 12:00 am and 07:00 pm.

Sarah shed a tear. "The medicine bags even have compartments with letters on them to symbolize my medicine. Smart kid. I just wish he could tell me where he was."

"I'll look for him don't worry. Where are Lisa and Favour any way?", Justin asked.

" They are at a friend's place for a visit I'll go pick them up now", Sarah said.

Sarah and Officer Justin said their goodbyes and she set off to pick up her kids from her friends place.

When she arrived there she stayed for a few moments in the car to gather up her thoughts and organize her medicine. When she was done she went into her friends house to pick them up.

   "Hey Mai", Sarah greeted her.

"Oh Sarah you are here early come on in."

Mai Warren is Sarah's best friend, they have been friends ever since they were in the force together. Mai was a computer specialist and also Sarah's go to person on everything technology. Mai was married and two children who were in close relations with Sarah's children.

Her son, Blake, was Jamin's greatest rival and best friend. They always competed against each other but Jamin would normally win their battles.

Her daughter, Sabrina, she was 16 years old and love playing with Lisa and Favour. She thought of them as her sisters.

When Sarah entered the living room, she saw Blake frantically typing something on his computer. She wondered what was wrong but she thought it would be best to leave it be.

Mai walked in with some pastries and tea.

"You may need to wait a little, Sabrina is removing the make up they put."

"Looks like old habits die hard for Sabrina don't they, she's been doing this ever since she was young", Sarah giggled.

"Yea I know you remember the time we let her do our makeup", Mai said," I had to draw my brows every single day after what she did."

  "Same."

Mai noticed Sarah's sad expression. "Hey what's wrong?"

" Jamin ran away", Sarah said.

   "What?When?"

"Today, he left a letter saying that he needed some time off."

"That is so sad", Mai said, " do you know where he could be?"

"No I don't", Sarah said. Blake accidentally dropped his computer and ran out of the living room but before he could go any further his mother stopped him.

"Where are you going?", Mai asked.

"To my room, I feel light headed", Blake said.

"Okay be careful with the laptop it is very expensive", Mai said. Blake ran up to his room. As he was the girls came down and Sarah and her kids left.

While Sarah was driving her phone buzzed. It was a message from an unknown number.

   Don't look for me.

Sarah let out sinister a smile. "I've got you."
